Fix is here people.

You need to go into a LAN game first, possibly even buy an item. Do not Exit Demigod completely, just End the Game and then go right to Pantheon. Works everytime for me.
Hey hey, this is a forum post. There is a difference. ^^ This allows people to get a feel for the game, and some nice tricks, while browsing the forums. But thanks for the Wiki link.
Thanks Wakygreek. I'll be sure to add that in my update of this old post. I didn't have the Death Penalty listed before because it was still in an earlier phase of Beta. I'll make those changes now.
Okay amended the Multiplayer LAN portion of the fix, because the game seems to remember your favor in Pantheon to some degree. Playing a LAN game and exiting it will solve this issue.
Try playing on Multiplayer LAN first, exit game, then try Pantheon,
Thanks for the Karma. ^^
I agree. I'd rather not play at all. So that's what I'm doing until it's fixed. ^^
Temp Fix until further notice from GPG: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/347297
Known issue. April 16th's patch was set to make Pantheon mainly focus on 2v2 games as a temp fix. The negative side effect is that the game keeps wanting to make 2v2 matches, which means Crucible is the ideal. The ETA on when this patchwork repair will be lifted with a real fix has not been determined, but Stardock knows of its existance is working on it. As they said, "It's better to be playing on Crucible than not be playing at all."
Greetings Demigod Fans, Long ago we've reported a bug to GPG about Favor Points resetting on us. This got worse in release as now they dip into Negative numbers for no reason. Worry not, this is not part of the game design. In fact, the entire game's player recording system is completely broken so all of your achievements, purchased achievement items, and favor will often get deleted. Well how do you resolve this issue on your own? Very simple, so simple you
[quote who="scyldSCHEFING" reply="21" id="2147351"]Well, this is a major failure in the game's design: generals were suppose to have skills that primarily support their minions and their team. Now they have sufficient damaging abilities to be able to deal damage like an assasin but still retain their support abilities. Perhaps this was because it was simply too difficult in the end to implement a true RTS interface that would give a player tight control of his mionions and minions
Entering the Pantheon is Random enough, and that is already the best unpredictable situation. There is no need for Random. All you do is press "Fight" and you don't know what you'll get tagged up with or who you'll fight against. It's a blind jump. Last thing I want is more of Randomization in Custom Games. If you want Random, play Pantheon.
Known issue, Pat is jumping on that today.
Furthermore, the the "Player hasn't connected to anyone yet" players are immune to Eject Player.
Hmm looks like it does just BARELY have the range at the rear of the base. Technically it doesn't show at a good place to teleport, but it accepts it anyway and you do go over. But still, darn thing costs 5500 and that's hard to afford on 3v2 Crucible.
Yeah, it looks like a result of today's patch. Pantheon averages out about 4 players per game, and for some reason the game instantly thinks "Crucible" is the ideal map. Well so far, I've played well over a dozen games on Pantheo today, and only 1 wasn't Cruicible, and it was 5 players.
Sandman, the Unclean Beast's power to hit towers with his Vemon is really one of the best ways he can work. It's like me asking for the Rook to have his building sucking ability taken away. There is no over powered nature to this beast, in fact he's very inneffective against a very good team of Demigods who know their classes. I was in that game Sandman, and I know very well you were not using Rook to the degree in which could have really make the game a lot more complicated for
Well, so far in the latest patch we got the nitfy feature to Eject people trying to connect to the game. As Frogboy said, this is no silver bullet. It helps, indeed it does, but for the most part I still can not kick the people who are truely hindering the games from connecting. So far, it seems the Eject system only works if someone is actually connected to you. Falling short of the need to boot people who can not connect to anyone at all. So far, the bigg
Servers are getting upgraded.
[quote who="Frogboy" reply="15" id="2143755"]Let me ask those who think we should get a 2 or whatever this: The Gamespot review will live on forever. But the problems connecting in multiplayer will likely be gone in another few days. And, I should point out that a lot of the problems people are experiencing are due to having so many more users on day 1 than we had expected. If we had, for instance, sent out review copies of Demigod say tomorrow, we would likely end
People kept complaining about people teleporting into the base. We asked for better base defense instead, because I rather enjoying the rift-warping. But they reduced the radius so much I don't even find Teleport worth while anymore. I can't dodge much attacks very well and I can't move faster with it.
I dunno, there must be a flavor of the day or something because this game keeps constantly slapping me up in Cruicible/Domination. Perhaps one of the worst maps you can play for flag capping. I'm even more tired of 3v2 Cruicible/Dominate because it's just unfair. 3 players, 3 main flags.. When you cap one, two go bye-bye. Plus, Teleport no longer has the radious to jump between the rift so I can't leave the base. I mean, I win matches on Cruicible/Dominate a
I'm not much of a Random fan. It's certainly a Western tred to think that Random is good. But actually, I'm quite in favor of the Eastern tradition where it's absolutely okay to be just good at ONE thing. I enjoy this game because it's not random, and frankly Random always ticks me off. We had this discussion during beta, and I still feel this game is stronger without the Random option.
Sadly I want to bump this again becasue it's been sometime with no feedback. And with new blood, I want some people to read it.
