It's crashing on Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit on startup as well. Once Explorer restarts, it's fine...from a practical standpoint it just increases the time it takes to boot and login and get to work.

Screenshots and a resume, please. Or stop being a terrible poster and GTFO.
GalCiv II was (is) awesome. The Lego-like ship builder is still one of the best features in a space 4x game ever.
I'm using that one now. It's nice, though the minimize/restore/window buttons cut off on Firefox unless you enable the Menu Bar.
Has anybody created a skin to mimic the new Stardock look and feel (best seen in the Stardock Central app)?
Thank you. Pre-ordering now. Although, darnit: the discount doesn't apply unless you have either Diplomacy or Trinity.
I own the original Sins and Entrenchment, but not Diplomacy. Does Rebellion come with that, or do I need to purchase it separately? (Can Diplomacy even be purchased stand-alone now, or do I have to go all-in and get Trinity?)
Yes Yes Yes (I like big maps with lots of units)
Anyone use Windows Live Mesh or Skydrive? Does the former store anything in the cloud, or does it only sync?
Thank you everyone.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good minimalist WindowBlind? I'd like small (or nonexistant, if that's possible) frames, a short titlebar, etc. The GNOME ones from several years ago are good, but aren't quite what I'm looking for.
ObjectDesktop apps no longer update via Impulse. The download files neither have a version number nor a last updated date. How can I tell if there's been an updated version since the last time I downloaded?
Do you know that your RSS is pushing this article several times per hour?
I just wish there were more minimalistic skins with thinner taskbars, window frames, scrollbars, etc. Re-color/re-texture/new buttons are nice, but I want to see more data on my screen, and fewer UI elements. Creating a freebie skin like this is nice, though, and it doesn't look bad.
Minor issue: if System Tray icons are enabled, a Tile occasionally displays behind them. it appears and disappears intermittently. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, nVidia GeForce GTX 285M 280.26 drivers
In the past, you could just install Impulse...not that I'm not a little bitter about watching Stardock start over on personal software deployment... :p
I agree...definitely don't log it as a bug (though please do log the feature request. [e digicons]:)[/e] )
Stardock licenses are on a per-user basis, so if you're the only user on the work computer, then yes. If you wanted fences on a spouse or child's computer, you would need a separate license.
Good tip, though both of my forward/backward buttons only go forward.
The biggest thing I use the Start Menu for now in Windows 7 is the Search box. It would be great to have this as a Tile.
Currently, the System Tray (when enabled) displays on all Pages. With a large number of icons, this takes up a lot of vertical real-estate. It would be helpful to enable the System Tray on a by-Page basis.
Currently you need to left-click and drag to change pages. You can use the scroll-wheel to move the list up and down, but on mice with a tilting scroll-wheel, the left-right tile does nothing. It would be helpful to have the left-right tilt change pages.
I saw that...but in the ObjectDesktop purchase window, it shows WindowFX 3. I guess a better question is: "Is WindowFX 4 included in ObjectDesktop?" Thanks for the quick response, though.
