Based on the sound of crickets chirping in here, the answer to my question is no, SR2 Reloaded is not going to be available on SDCentral...and Impulse is not going to support Win2K. So how do I download the game I purchased? (Note: I submitted a support ticket but I haven't heard back from that either.)

I suspect I know the answer to this question, but will SR2 Reloaded be made available on SDCentral? I was able to purchase the game with tokens but it appears it requires Impulse to download. I'm running Win2K (which SR2 supports but Impulse does not). So I can buy the game...I just can't download it :(

I don't think I want to know the answer to this question, but... Since that is the same date SD is releasing Impulse, will the SR2 expansion still be available on SDCentral or totalgaming.net as well?...i.e will we be able to purchase the game w/tokens? I've been holding onto my tokens just for this occasion :)

Thanks Yarlen. I'll give it a shot then. Retailers are beginning to require that PC games have the GFW certification. It makes them happy. My Bad...There for a second I forgot I'm just the customer. I keep forgetting there's all these folks in the middle telling me what I want to buy. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/tgNET/smiles/Tongue.gif" border=0

Thanks Yarlen One final question regarding Win2K, if I buy the retail box, will I be able to download and install updates through SDC or will I be thwarted there as well? btw, I'm not sure having that 'Games for Windows' logo's is worth having you're hands tied like that

1) Just curious, does the MS program allow you to add an option that would allow the user to change the default path after installation? 2) I found out the hard way that SDCentral won't allow me to install on Win2K. Is there anyway to override that..feature? Has anyone who's bought the retail version has tried it on Win2K?

I purchased a batch of tokens and picked up SR2 with tokens with the intent of using the remaining tokens to purchase Dark Avatar when it was released. Dark Avatar shows up on my SD Central list but it doesn't appear it's available for purchase with tokens. The token price shows N/A and it only gives the option to purchase with a credit card, etc. Am I missing something or looking in the wrong place? Thanks in advance!

I'd like to add my thanks to the list. I nearly fell off my chair the first time I realized I was playing the game and the CD wasn't in the drive! I made a special trip to the website to check the FAQ's and forums to see if I had done something wrong! No, I hadn't RTFM or the EULA for that matter. Reading most EULA's these day's tend to give me an irresistable urge to return the game! After finding th

I'm relatively new to GC2 and am really loving this game. It keeps getting better with each and every patch! Everyone else is tossing out ideas for features so I'll join the chorus. These are all thoughts I've had while playing the game over the last few months. I've seen some of these mentioned in other posts, consider duplicates to be a vote for the idea . So here goes...and thanks for listening! Tech Trading <br

I voted no on the poll to the left originally because I prefer content over MP and still do. But after some thought, I would change my vote. My son is taking an interest in this game and it would be well worth $20-30 to be able to play MP over my LAN with him. I don't care about internet MP, I tried that with Civ and it's not much fun. But I love the idea of a 4-8 player lan capability where you know who you're playing with and know they can stick through a game. I'm not sure if
