Here at work I have a 64bit Vista machine. I ended up using my Power DvD software to install the codecs I need. There are several software types out there that are included in products like these. You can also purchase just the codecs though several vendors like Microsoft. 64bit often needs a decent amount of extra effort.

I'm setting up a test here. Are you on a wired or wireless network?
Anytime at all. I'm very glad it worked for you. If you have further troubles please let us know here or at support@stardock.com.
In the next few hours the update for Impulse will be made available. A good many fixes are included in this update. However there have been a few cases where people have had trouble with Impulse fully downloading or applying the updates on this scale. If you should have any of the following: -Very long periods of download time followed by a time out -Total freeze up after the update -The update
This is a great idea guys ....
Thank you. :) As always we love to hear feed back. If you have any suggestions for support on either Panic Button or in general we are always interested to hear them.
Click the Stardock Orb > Preferances > Folders > then hit the reset data button. See if that allows the update to work.
Please try running through the trouble shooting steps highlighted here just in case. https://forums.wincustomize.com/321917 I had something of the same trouble with my PC under the same circumstances. Eventually I reinstalled PowerDvD and with it a great quality codec that worked. If you have access to DvD software like that often times the same sort of codecs come bundled with them. There are also several codec packs out there for sale beyond the free ones that are worth trying. F
This occured in the lastest update as a mistake. If you actually click down near the bottom on the black bar you can get the UI to generate the window for you. You can also right click on the game title if it is part of the list for the options you need. If you still have troubles with it you can email support the number and we can attach it manually for you.
I'm afraid that from here on out the support would have to come from the developer. You can find them here: http://www.cinemax.cz/
We would need alot more information to help you out. However things sound pretty complicated on your desktop. Do you have other problems running other programs or have trouble loading many at once? If this is really involved you might want to contact us at support@stardock.com.
Here is a link to the latest support news letter: https://forums.wincustomize.com/321917 In there are some great troubleshooting suggestions for Deskscape troubles.
There are reports that the latest Iconpackager Beta has fixed the '..can't find activate.exe ...' issue.
The beta has the fix for this issue. That is correct.
Yeah... It would nice if SDC users could get the same Object Desktop updates. I know, Stardock prefers that we use Impulse, but I'm not quite ready to wade back into that morass again.
At this time the beta is available through Impulse. I belive when it goes live this update will be
Sure! Right click on the short cut to MyColors on the general users desktop. Go to properties > Shortcut tab > Advanced button > then check Run as Administrator.

Sorry but it wasn't a slip. In each instance there was a reason we couldn't release it, or it wasn't working as intended. I can't explain those points in detail. We simply won't release an unfinished product.
If you simply set MyColors to run as administrator through the properties options the general users can change their themes at will through Vista. They wouldn't have access to your personal information just the option to "reskin"
But the info is entered correctly.
Normally this is the part where I would confirm your account information with you just to be sure. However that isn't possible on the forums for obvious reasons. Since you have already registered your
What skinning software are you using? MyColors? WindowBlinds? What is the system information for each of them (found under settings).
Yes you can. In MyColors click on the settings tab > see advanced options... Then go to apply the theme, when you do it will ask what parts of the theme you would like to apply. Simply make sure only the WB skin is checked and you are all set.
(Not running impulse for the first time as admin...eventhough my user account is admin privliged, resulted in the apps saying they where downloading but they were not downloaded the main operating .dll files which meant i could see the deskscapes wallpapers but not apply them!)
With Vista you can be an admin but not be running as the Admin. For lack of a better term I will call it the AdminAdmin :) For instance you will also have this problem if you had UAC running w
Alpha Prime You can have both Impulse and Stardock Central installed if you so choose. If you have MyColors installed right now you can use it to preform the registration for you. However as many have suggested here Impulse can handle this much easier for you. The free theme you have been sent is already attached to your account with a serial number. Installing Impulse and loging in works like Stardock Central except in this case you can see the MyColors theme and just hit apply much like
I wonder if delaying theme releases is fair to OD customers that don't want to renew their subscriptions but lose out on the theme due to the delay. So effectively Stardock can simply release 4 themes in one month then not release anything regularly and if a subscriber misses out on that month, he or she can say goodbye to it.eg... a theme was supposed to be released in Apr as part of the launch of OD08, and a second in Jul. Yet, themes are delayed so that both themes + one more theme is
Try uninstalling Logon, restart, then install the regular version and not the beta. To do this click the Stardock Orb > Preferences > General > uncheck the show prerelease version box. Then normally run the install/download.
I was able to replicate some of this problem. Do you have the dock to be set as always on top? Also are you using multiple monitors? If so what monitor do you keep the dock on?
We would need more information than that I'm afraid. What oporating system, any other programs playing at the same time, is it totally random or can you get it to occur when you do a certain something on your PC?
