You can access the beta right now, but you have to uninstall the game first if you used SDC to get it, and then re-install through Impulse. Just don't do it all at once
hahaha lol awesome functionnality I knew there had to be some drawback, tell me do I have to redownload too because the archive format ain't the same ? SDC is then better IMO, now when impulse is going to recognize automatically by itself that the ga

The penalty does not add on top of bonuses. When you lose elections, you lose the bonuses as a first step then you also gain the penalties. So that means that for example if you are technologist and have a total bonus (in abilities screen)of +48 to research and +3 to sensors, then when you lose hold of the political party, you will first lose the bonus for -20 to research and -1 to sensors, then you will gain the penalties for another -20 to research and -1 to sensors, which will make your new

To be honest, I don't really like this digital download stuff, because first of all I need a credit card for it (I don't have one) and secondly, I have a rather slow internet connection.
well I downloaded them since they ain't that big (1024kbit DSL here), I think about 600MB for both I don't care about physical support, you can archive

Since you are able to update the original game, there shouldn't be any problem for downloading DA & TA as far as I know and you think the expansion bundle is expansive [e digicons]8(|[/e] ? but consider things again there's not 1 but 2 expansion packs full of new features inside ! for a base of comparison, most games cost this price but there's only 1 game inside. And also most expansions packs for games aren't that full of new features (new campaign for each expansion, a

Let me share my story. Back when I had only galciv2 I often checked "randomize intelligence" which gave the races a little variation, instead of them all being equally powerful (which is boring) So now with TA I did the same thing.... and since it's been a while I played I selected "Tough" for difficulty, which should overall get races with "Intelligent" Settings (for reference <a title="https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Difficulty_level" href="https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Diffic

hello, I was away from the galactic civilization community for quite some time and was wondering if there's a waypoint system of sort. It's not a rally point I'm searching for, but something that would allow me to tell a ship: "your fleet should head for coordinates 123,212 first, then for coordinates 123,180 , then you go on this ressource to build a starbase, and no you don't ask for confirmation between those points. Now what are you still doing here captain? waiting for christmas

lol let's say I'm amazed at how hard you find some things, accorded this forum seems to have a buggy "edit" button when in FF3, that's the only bug I noticed though. (EDIT: seems fixed now [e digicons][/e] ) First what do you have ? galciv 2 ??? or galciv 2 + dark avatar expansion ??? or galciv 2 + dark avatar + twilight of the arnor expansions ??? Also did you already update the game??? because if not then that's the first step to take since a LOT of changes were made overtim

So in fact 10% PQ is almost useless since only planets with initial PQ > 10 will benefit from it. On the other hand 20% PQ is quite nice for big maps I didn't try out invasion yet, it's probably the same as colonization though I don't know if the initial PQ of planet was already modified by some terraform buildings what will happen...
If the bonus for PQ was better i would take that but its a lot of points for not much of a gain in PQ. NOw, I'm not sure if the percent bonus applies only to the initial PQ or the eventual (after terraforming) or how it works if you have an orbital terraformer (for late game comonization ofthe PQ1's) or when you invade. so maybe it could work better.
this is what I got with my testing with +20%PQ initial =&g

by the way (sorry for triple posting but editing doesn't work in FF3 it seems) [e digicons]:'([/e] Kryo or anyone else going around, what about making this post a sticky instead of the old galactopedia ? since the author fully agreed with letting its project being taken over, since credits are given and since this version is compatible with all 3 galciv2... Just a suggestion though [e digicons];)[/e]

ok this time, I verified my information before submitting it here: there's two galactic wonders that give a HP bonus to ship built there like : Drath Doomsday Generator. And good news this time it works, it really gives a +50% HP bonus to ships built there, it's even better than you might think since it's RETROACTIVE ! So if you lack some hp on your front line and the majority of your ships come from one planet, you know what to do [e digicons];P[/e] . Well let's stop

you can : -mod support components in gc2types.xml (I divided everything by 2) -mod political parties to include a malus to range (don't forget penalties too) (I put -50% myself) -mod technologies to reduce range bonuses gained from techs (I divided everything by 2) have fun playing with the values but don't forget to cheat yourself the techs and test it out thoroughly

also it's stated multiple times that this is NOT the amount of population but the amount of taxpayers. Think of it like your administration can't handle any more than 20 billion of taxpayers without taking strict measures that displease people by a lot ...

I generally like to leave the opponents in random race choice, but last time I was just checking out the ability to customize your opponents and I saw that every race has between 6 to 10 ability points left over. It's nice since it means you can actually customize them, but I was wondering if AI was using the points if you don't set them yourself. Moreover in random opponents mode you just can't choose any...

Hello, I like customizing my race before launching myself in an immense galaxy setup. So just as the title says, what's the starting technology tree you like the most, and why ? I'm currently trying to decide myself between the nice yor factories and the arcean's or drath nice +3PQ buildings. Trade may also offset some drawbacks from certain technology trees and in any case I'm open to all suggestions... TA is so diverse I have quite a hard time getting the wh
