[/quote] I'm guessing that you're right considering the lateness of the build. But I have to think that LightStar has made a good point. Is MS going to the "mod" community now? Not saying that Stardock is to, in any way, be considered as 'modders'. But let's look at the facts: <

Having the same problem as of this post.

Yeah I've seen this. Had a very pleasant Slag right next to one of my cities who was kind enough to let me level up my champions until the stack could kill it. [e digicons]XD[/e]
Small and medium for testing. Medium and large for fun.
Reminds me of this: Presiding General: Sixty-eight pounds ten shillings for a pair of gaiters? Fawcett: (dismissively) They were special gaiters, sir. Presiding General: Special gaiters? Fawcett: Yes, sir, they were made in France. One beret costing fourteen shillings... Presiding General: What was special about them? Fawcett: (as if he can hardly be bothered to reply) They were made of a special fabric, sir. The
I gladly skipped Vista. I was a hardcore XP fanboy. But Win 7 64 is so much better I can't believe that I waited for as long as I did to upgrade. Windows Live ID to log in to Win 8? So much for Win 8.
While I would not say that baseball is retarded, I will say that it is boring. The post, OTOH, is borderline "learning impaired". It's sort of like the post wandered into the wrong bathroom because it couldn't understand the pictogram on the door. I'll leave it up to the OP to figure out what this says about him (or her).
What is this process doing when it is running, and why have you hidden it? Shhhh! It's what Brad uses to steal pR0n from your computer. Give the guy a break.
I start the game, click Metaverse and crash to desktop every time. But I can play a non-Metaverse game without any problem. Yea that happened to me. The worst part about it is that you cant break alliances on the diplomacy screen! You have to actually attack their fleet. Talk about an oversight There is a button or switch on a screen (the correct one escapes me now) that says "Break Alliance". You don't have to attack. <b
I thought the subject line was refering to my first, second and present wives.
The last time I had this problem it was a close vote, like 52 to 48 against. So I kept trying to attack until the vote went my way. Cheesy? Yep. But I wanted that PQ21 Carinoid (sp?) planet REAL bad. If the vote is a bigger difference, I don't know what to tell you. Raise your approval to over 70% and try again. Good luck.
1BC coin is not 1 billion Game manual, page 23 bottom: "You earn money, measured in billions of credits (bc's)," "He picked up a coin worth 1BC..." Normally you can find stuff worth from hundreds to thousands of bc (billions of credits). The joke is, that it's a "meas
I bet he really found a 3BC coin, and chopped off one third to keep the empire happy. By your description you must be thinking of a coin based upon a rare metal that has intrinsic value. This would be instead of a coin like the ones we use today, which have a much lower intrinsic value than what is ac
Since the income of a trade route (according to the manual) is on a per turn basis, getting it somewhere sooner (in less turns) would decrease the income. Eg: 10 parsecs at 1 parsec per turn is more cash than 10 parsecs at 5 parsecs per turn... 10 turns of income versus 2 turns of income.
Consider the Drengin - do you think they would sit by and watch an alien colonization ship head for a habitable planet a few sectors from their homeworld? No they wouldn't, they'd blast it out of existence. Yet the only option one has in that case is to declare war. Think of it this way. There is an o
The change I would like to see to the combat system, would be to allow an option at the start of the game: Defensive advantage: If checked, this option means that the defending fleet (or ship) fires first, instead of the attacking fleet. This would mean that there would be a slight advantage to being on the defensiv
I wonder how the No Tech Trade option will affect the balance of the the different races. Seems to me that right now tech trading is a big part of the computer's strategy or at least they all use it a lot. There should definitely be a lot of testing to make sure that disabling that aspect of the computer's strategy won't unbalanc
I can see you. I just can't hear you.
It's been that way for me from the beginning. I've mentioned it before but gotten no reply.
I play it using DOSBox Link and the front end for it called D-Fend Link .
