Well like all other victory conditions, the towers are a function of conquest...because as soon as you see the AI start to build them, you have no choice but to go to war or risk losing.
I was referring to bouts of depression that have no specific cause.
OK, but why did you specifically mentioned your economic peers? People from all economic levels of society suffer from depression. It not jus a condition of the wealthy.

After re-reading the title and considering the content of the OP, I'm guessing you're having trouble with trolls, and assorted Internet jerks again?
Most of my friends who are, let’s say, economic peers of mine, suffer from a surprisingly consistent set of brain demons as I do. The brain demons giveth and taketh. I suspect many of you reading this know exactly what I’m talking about.
I don't. Please elaborate.

Here's one related to pathfinding I'd like to see fixed: Scouts and other units set to explore mode should automatically avoid monsters instead of walking right into them. If the unit can't get around a monster, it should stop, and the player should be alerted.
I find it fascinating that this thread appears in the GalCiv III forum complete with references to the Arnor and the Dread Lords. Is this just coincidence or is there some connection between these universes!
Yes, there is an intentional connection between the two games/mythacs.
Other books? Is that plot points for future sequels in the series (might be a good rename for the franchise as well), or are you planning to write more books?
Yea, I was wondering why Brad brought up a 3 year old issue about a flammer/troll of his first book in another thread. It would make sense that he's thinking of writing new books, and that opened an old wound.

Here are two fairly recent positive ratings. I don't think her review is having much of an impact anymore. http://www.amazon.com/Elemental-Destinys-Embers-Bradley-Wardell/product-reviews/0345517865/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_five?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addFiveStar&showViewpoints=0
Ok thanks for the info. I see Fallen Heros is on sale! As for DLC is any one or two must haves? Map packs? Loot? Quest pack? Thanks again.
My personal favorite is the quest pack, but at $2.50 each (via the Xmas sale), IMO, they are all worth purchasing.

I played Civ5 with G&K. It felt bland and boring to me. I just didn't get an "epic" feeling from it. Building wonders used to feel important with civ4. In Civ5, it's just an accumulation of various points, and it feels hollow. I've never played endless space, but IMO, Civ5 is skippable.

Guys, there is no doubt that digital distribution is a win-win situtuation for everyone. I was just going through my old stuff and thinking how much I liked the manuals and the large fold-out charts and such.
I found a good use for my old disks.... keep them neatly stacked near my computer as always and continue the illusion they are valuable. My 2 year old child won't walk past the disks (she has to grab them and play with them) and therefore my computer is kept safe!
Well maybe not valuable, but definitely useful.
