Gr8 Whyte, a bug fix I made earlier today to fix multiple entries of the same name in Build Ship list will fix the problem you mention as well.

Hmm, horizontal lines and graphics glitches of that nature may be due to faulty drivers. Looking at your screenshot though, I would recommend, as butcherski has, to change your tactical view zoom level option in the options menu. If you continue to experience problems, please post your debug.err file ( found in the same folder as galciv2.exe ) Thanks.

Thank you for bringing this one to our attention. If anyone has a saved game from the turn (or even up to a few turns before) that this crash happens, please send it to gc2bugs@stardock.com. Please provide as much information you can about what civ it was, what planet, and I can force the game in the debugger to use those settings so that we can get to the bottom of this. Another thing that would really help too is SmartException reports. SmartException is a free tool th

Both of you have Nvidia drivers from Summer 2005. Please check with Nvidia to see if there are more recent updates available for your particular card. If the problem persists after updating these drivers, please let us know. Thank you.

Please update to the final release version of 1.1. This may help the problem. There are still some save game issues and we will get an update out as soon as we can.

The Fundamentalists are a minor race that is formed during your game due to an event that occurs. You should've been told about it though. If you wouldn't mind, could you send your saved game and debug.err file (in your galciv2 program folder) to gc2bugs@stardock.com? Please include a link to this forum thread in your message. Thank you.

You mention that it crashes even when using your saved game. Can you send your save file to gc2bugs@stardock.com please? I'd like to run it in the debugger and find out why that particular event is crashing for you. In your e-mail message, please provide a link to this forum thread. Thanks.

For clarification, Obsoleting a ship removes it from your ship list for the current game. Starting a new game will allow you to use that ship again. Deleting a ship will remove the ship permanently from your current game and any games thereafter.

Your drivers are from about a year ago, so you may want to check to see if any updates are available. If that does not help the problem, and you continue to get a crash, please download and install SmartException (Free Stuff in Stardock Central). Run this and play the game, when it crashes, it will generate a report. This report will tell us exactly where it is crashing. You may email these reports to gc2bugs@stardock.com For more information on SmartException, please

Thank you for reporting this. Yes, there is a bug if you first move ships to one tile, and then make them into a fleet and then attack with that fleet all on the same turn. That has now been fixed, and will be included in the next update
