Nice offer - but - I prefer to use ObjectBar
StarBudd
I wish that either "tiggz" or someone else could make a SKIN for Rightclick for the KTEK theme... Is that difficult to do? Does it take a lot of time to make this? I'm really zero on this - I wouldn' t even know where to start. I guess if someone else besides Tiggz makes the RC skin, would have to obtain permissions from him... Anyways, is there anyone who can do this (if it's a quick job) - ofcourse! I wouldn't feel good asking for something knowing it takes lots of t
WE WANT OBJECTBAR!!!
I sure would like to see some developments with ObjectBar - that would be interesting. This is such an outstanding application, it deserves attention! I love this more than ObjectDock, Fences, RightClick, and many others... C'mon, do something with it - and we'll love it even more...[e digicons]|-)[/e] Maybe it could use a little bit of a revamp... (new application icon, better skinning for vista, more unique features, etc.) I'm now using it in X
Isn't that one of life's little ironies? That WB's own app is unskinnable?
I never thought of that! You're right - that is pure irony... ;p
I guess I'm alone on this thread! That's OK. But after some time, an issue was apparent for me, and so, it was a toss up between Fences and ObjectBar (with Virtual Desktops) and my final decision was to continue to use ObjectBar. I consider it way better than Fences... ObjectBar is by far the best and well beyond Fences (nice app though)...! [e digicons]:star:[/e] but me and my ObjectBar have become inseparable...
I like Fences very much - but - I can't use it with the Stardock Virtual Desktops application. They don't seem to be compatible. Presently, I cannot and will not remove my virtual desktops to use Fences. My desktops help me so much to be better organized and I basically can't do without them - so Fences is out till they can make the two work in harmony...
I originally had my virtual desktops installed on my laptop and so there wasn't much room for desktop names - and so the little popups would be helpful for small screens. I now have it on a 22" screen with the names appearing and what a nice way to be organized... It might be useful to have the "option" to view popups for smaller screens...
If I activate FENCES, the virtual desktops DO NOT work. So temporarily, I removed FENCES so I can use my desktops. That's somewhat a little more important to me. This needs to be fixed...
I appreciate using these virtual "worlds". This helps me to be more efficient and productive in managing my workload. The Stardock Virtual Desktops has lots of nice features and options but I tend to think that there is one missing. In the display options, you can select "Display Desktop Names" which is not too useful the way it is currently implemented because there is not enough space to view the names. Currently, the virtual desktops are located in ObjectBar. Perhaps it would be better if
K-TEK will do...
OK, I have an account with Photobucket. Ofcourse, I didn't open everything to hide the gorgeous wallpaper made by Tiggz. or I would really like to have the email checker inside the KDOCK and a Rightclick skin for (K-TEK). Don't know if that's a difficult thing to
I can easily make the screenshot - but - there is somethng missing in the tutorial. It is not specified "where" the "Submit a file" link appears. Is it on the wiki page, forum page, wincustomize home page...? It's not clear. Ofcourse, there is one on the wiki page and if that's the one to use, I have to create an account - OK, no problem - but - how to associate this uploaded file to this thread here...? That's not clear at all... unless there is something I missed... anyways, it would b
Yeah, I use the others somewhat, but ObjectBar is my main application which also shows my virtual desktops. I have others bars hidden on the left side of the screen and so when I move the cursor to the left, they open up with more useful links. I have the bar on top and skinned with K-TEK by Tiggz. Underneath that, the KDOCK provides useful access to commonly used applications. For me, everything is K-TEK...!
Maybe you could create a "subcategory" for FENCES... All the relevant posts would be grouped together.
Objectbar is what I use the most...
So far, I'm still very happy with this program. However, I have encountered one problem: It seems that FENCES has a problem with Stardock Virtual Desktops. If Fences is running, I cannot leave the actual desktop where Fences is running and go to another virtual desktop. There seems to be an incompatibility between the 2 . [Running XP SP3] I had to temporarily remove the Fences application because the Virtual desktops is somewhat more important for me - I n
I really appreciate this ObjectBar2 application - it is really powerful and so very useful. I haven't found anything to match it's clever abilities. It seems to me, it's a work of genius... ... can't do without it... [e digicons][/e]
I can't seem to find a way to sort the icons in a fence. Is it possible?
What you can do for now is shuffle them around to display the order you would like to see. This doesn't take too much time. As you move an icon and point to where you would like it, the other icons move out of the way... it's not bad, and yet, an auto-sort would be better...
Can't seem to get it to work on vista... Is development an ongoing thing with this APP? - sort of looks dead... Is there any current news about this APP...? - I sure would appreciate any information about it's development status. This APP has lots of potential. Waiting to hear some news... [e digicons]>:([/e]
I used to be able to inherit the WB skin currently in view on my system, but now, it seems that I cannot get it to adjust to the currently applied skin. Is there something I am overlooking...? Could this be a vista problem...? ,,, would appreciate any info... Vista Home Premium SP1 [32-bit]
I downloaded and installed this application and it works just fine. I appreciate how it's setup and the usefulness it provides. Nice approach - thanks. [e digicons][/e]
