This is strange. I changed this setting from EVR, and it no longer freezes. To check, I went through all these options, and now none of them causes a freeze. I will keep an eye on this and report if I see freezing again.

And it's still running after half an hour, so I guess it's just videos not looping.
Blurry Blobs has been running for five minutes without freezing
I originally thought it was just videos, but then I noticed Desktop Earth and snail shell fractal also freeze, and I think they are both animated.
Hi, I followed those steps and it's still freezing. My best guess is that it runs through one loop but does not restart the video. Still DS 11.02, Win 11 23H2
Deskscapes 11.02 Windows 11 23H2 I'm unsure when it happened because I generally have maximized windows so rarely show my desktop, but I just noticed that most of my Dreams are no longer looping. They play once then freeze at the last frame. I've tried a number of Dreams and this happens with all of them. I'm not sure what is the difference between those that freeze and those that continue. Most freeze after around 30 seconds, so I initially thought it was when a movie finishe
As there is a certain amount of overlap in these two products, does anyone have any thoughts about using them together? Or is it better to regard them as completely independent? I guess it will be possible to have a DOck on one screen edge and the Taskbar controlled by Start11 on another, but are there more interesting things that can be done? How, if at all, do they interact? Can I have a Dock using the Start11 start menu, taskbar, and notification area?

That seems to have sorted it, thanks! Reinstalled and now seems to be working OK. Playlists working as expected (previously it just showed the first Dream). Also, the "Configure Deskscapes" item is back on the desktop context menu, which I only realised was missing when it reappeared.
The title says it all. I installed Deskscapes 11 over 10 and it was never satisfactory. Either Dreams didn't autoplay or playlists never moved from the first Dream. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall from scratch. The uninstall program started fine but as of now, it has been sat saying "Uninstalling services" for over an hour. On Windows 10 Home 20H2, 19042.1266
Thanks, it did make the installer visible, but I didn't see an option to select Safe Files. The install still failed: I chose Ignore and the install seemed to complete though with another error (didn't catch this one). After that, I was able to activate and start Deskscapes. So for now all seems OK
Title says it all. The install doesn't even seem to get started.
This bug is still there, and the fix still works
Spoke too soon. Just opened ODM for the first time since I posted the above and ... nothing there, which is nonsense. Nothing on Manage or Installed tabs. So, basically, ODM is about as much use to me at the moment as a pile of poo in a swimming pool
Following up. I uninstalled everything again using Revo on its most aggressive mode, rebooted, ran CCleaner to clean the registry, went into the registry manually to clear out every reference to Stardock and ObjectDock, rebooted again, this time ODM installed everything fine and it all appears in the Manage and Installed tabs.
Clearly not the only person with this problem. It is happening to me, also the posters at: https://forums.stardock.com/452523/page/1/ and https://forums.stardock.com/453780/page/1/#3461816 I tried uninstalling everything from Stardock, rebooting and re-installing ODM. When I did, the programs all appeared in the dialogue, so I select
