I'll just go and give another confirmation as well. Still happening. Best solution I've found, don't remember where I saw it, press the ALT button on your keyboard and it'll get rid of them. Better than restarting explorer when you have a lot going on. But we really need a proper fix so it just doesn't happen.

Fix for this, most likely temporary, is to use the program vivetool to disable the change windows made to the widget. Got this from a reddit user when trying to figure out how to disable the right aligned widget. You open that program, click on advanced, put 48660958 in the first box, second box blank. Select deactivate. Then restart explorer however you want. Doing this I now have the weather widget back on the left with start11 enhanced taskbar enhanced working. So loo

Noticed that my widget icon disappeared at some point during the last couple days and after wasting time looking at other things I finally went and disabled taskbar enhancements in Start 11 and it came right back, but now it's on the right instead of the left. Evidently a recent windows update has changed the widget location from the left next to start/search/task to the right side like how it was in Windows 10. My guess is that that Windows change is probably the cause. Personally I prefer t

Bumping this as it's still going on. Fix is still to restart explorer. I have tried in safe mode not the full clean boot and it didn't happen but it also doesn't happen all the time in standard windows and restarting explorer fixes it for a while so while it might happen in safe mode it didn't in my tests. I did go and try StartAllBack for a couple days and didn't notice it but I much prefer Start11 just hope that this can be fixed one day.

Same problems as everyone here. I had the delay and disable and they kept coming back. Only way I've had to fix them was to restart explorer and then it's fixed for a while. I'll have to try just doing the enhance taskbar disable and re-enable next time. No idea why start11 messes with this feature so much but it's definitely some bad interaction between windows and start11.
Start11v2 Beta 2.0.7.0 fixed this issue for you. Adds in checkbox to control if the autohide option on the right-click taskbar menu should show or not. Only visible in UI when on Win11 and when enhanced taskbar is enabled.
Updated to the beta. Thank you for adding this option to remove it. Decades of muscle memory were getting wrecke

Ah never thought to right click over there lol thanks. For my main issue, I want the transparent square background, the problem is that on 2.0 when I put a custom tile like I have there for my games it rounds the edges in 2.0 where as previously it left them square. Another screenshot where I have highlighted the issue: https://i.imgur.com/pOstANu.png So now when using the windows 10 style you can't ge

Image showing what I am talking about: https://i.imgur.com/6Zzg12s.png Left is original start11, version 1.4 something before I upgraded to 1.5 and then to 2.0. Right is 2.0. As you can see on 2.0 it is rounding the edges of my custom tiles which I wouldn't mind but it's leaving the old w10 transparent square tile behind. Now if we could get an option to have rounded w10 transparent square tile that would be amazing but if not

Thanks for all the amazing work and just like back on Windows 8 loving how you guys fixed the Start Menu again. But onto the couple requests. First, as I'm sure you're aware the taskbar height was increased for W11 from W10. Default 40px to 48px. There is the small option in W11 and Start11 that is at 32px which while I think is a great option IMO it's too small. So as a request I think it would be a great option to have a W10 size as another option in between medium/w11 default and s
