I'm okay with this. The possibility of a sovereign evading an "all-in" surprise attack on his position will deter people from doing stuff like that unless they're really desperate. Not so sure about the idea of re-usable heroes, though.

I'm in the beta, but haven't bothered to play enough to know what pretige does. Thought it was similar to the "fame" score from MoM.

For me it was the spells. Although not perfectly balanced, but they were fun, clever and stylish. The different spell lines were very distinct from each other. Death sacrificed population for mana, Sorcery could shut down an enemy wizard's own spells, Chaos gave you raw firepower, etc. Compare MoM's spells to those of Age of Wonders. AoW spells were generic in flavor and not very different between each elemental sphere. I'd happily to play a fantasy TBS with minimal unit variety as long as th

I've had the same experience on Exile. It was an awful game, but that can be avoided by skipping reinforcement upgrades in the future. The assymetric flag arrangement around the center is also pretty questionable, but it's quite possible to have your whole team swoop in suddenly and take the more distant crystal flag if that's the one you've gotta have. I really dislike the map, but don't think it's broken. Crucible on the other hand...
is a hp flag really better than a mana flag?
IMO it's better by far. Mana is helpful during the early game, but once everyon has Vlemish Faceguards it's pretty minor.

Ice Torchbearer is weak early on and not really a big threat to Regulus unless there's a huge level or item advantage. As Regulus you're mostly dealing with fireball / ice storm + b

I don't know how this applies to other players, but when I stack defensive items I usually skimp on speed items. As Rook for instance I know I can't expect to outrun anyone, so I grab Blood of the Fallen rather than Swift Anklet. A demigod with low speed can't score kills as easily and has more trouble getting out of a bad situation. If your opponents have mana regen, hitpoints and mobility all covered early on and you don't, the problem isn't with HP stacking at all.</

A concede function should require all players on one side to use it before it does anything, otherwise it's "Quit" with a friendlier name.

I played a game where a teamate of mine, a Sedna, fed each member of the other team a kill almost immediately. Our team yelled at him, but after that he somehow got his act together and started kicking ass. No more deaths from him, and we actually won the game. My guess? It was an expert who wanted to make the game more difficult for himself. I really have no idea what happened there, though.

I've played on a four Rook team and lost pretty badly. Maybe our team was bad, but it didn't seem very effective. None of us could gank, while the other team definitely could by all striking one area together.
I've said this before but I'll say it again. The solution for Venomous Spit is to double the duration but keep the overall damage the same, effectively halving the DPS.
Not a bad idea. Half duration, double damage is a bit extreme. Maybe go 1.5 duration, 0.75 damage instead. UB seems a little too strong to me, though I'm no expert at the game.
