If you click on a building, then decide to change the location you can't select that building. You first have to select a different building before being able to select the original building. It is a minor thing but gets annoying after a while. I hope you can understand my description of the problem because I am not sure I can... Thanks, .JG.

As usual I'm a day late and a dollar short.
Sounds like under my couch!
Just an example of how lack of sleep causes tactical errors.
I agree whole heartedly. There just seems to be this media need to make it a "problem". Look the evil men are hogging all the video games. They should pay, no more this, no more that, until for every game geared toward men there is a game geared for women. Like they have done with scholastic sports. I think everyone should have the oppertunity to do what they want. I do not think it should be done by limiting others however.
Problem is, problem is... Is there a problem? Is it really that bad. Does it need to be made a problem? It is very unPC to admit there are diferences between men and women these days. Lets face it though, women and men are not interested in the same things. Should we force anybody to be interested in something they are not. Capitalism is the cause of the situation. Men buy most of the games, so most of the games are made for men. I have a job were I meet lot
As a parent why trust a ratings board? It is pretty easy to figure out the games you want and don't want your children to play. I prefer to play the games with or watch my kids play the games and have dialogue about what is appropriate behavior and what is not. So even when something violent or sexual in nature happens I can put my 2 cents into my childs prospective. If you are trusting a bunch of idiots in an ivory tower to tell you what your kids can or cannot
We need a game to sim killing lawyers. Especially the ones that start all these it's not my clients fault law suits. I would gladly let my children play. Then after 10 years we can see how many lawyers have actually been killed, because we have been influenced by this violent game. If we are lucky they will all be gone. Wishful thinking I know. Good idea for a game though. .JG.
I loaded the new beta yesterday. This is the first version that has played without crashing for me. It already has that one more turn feel to it. I noticed that if I go back to the main menu from the game and start again, the first time everything is fine but froze the second time everytime. I realize it is early but I had a sore throat lastnight and was having trouble sleeping so as I had just played a long game, I was thinking about it. With th
Man, I worry about the laziness of our society sometimes. We do not even play our own games anymore. We want the computer to play for us. We have automated this and computer controled that. Maybe it should be a pain in the ass to upgrade ships. If it is too much hassle just build new ones. I agree micromanagement is a drag sometimes, but don't you ever worry about having remote controls for your remote controls? Well off my soapbox. In certain places, a littl
Maybe upgrades can be done in the field, and redesigns at starbases and planets. I think that adds to the strategic value of having starbases at your borders. Plus as an extra idea everytime ships are upgraded in the field there should be a chance that any race paying for spies could pick off the tech. Spy finds out which ship is being refitted and where and hijacks the upgrade supplies. So if you were in a close science race with a slight advantage you would hav
Hopefull, your list has a scroll bar... Just teasing. .JG.
Will you be able to choose if you want to be red or blue?
I have come across the turn button disappearing. I could not get it to comeback.
The more ships involved the more likely that something useful is there. If the losing side has ship techs that the winning side does not have, maybe there is a chance that the tech can be learned from reverse engineering the wreckage. Or by seeing how aliens do things you get a bonus against them in battle in the future. Maybe reverse engineering, ship capture, xeno engineering, etc. could be techs to research that increase the probablity of learning fr
It would be an interesting surprise if your ship got too close to a black hole and was gone...
I agree, I have gotten up to 8 colonies, but as few as 2. It does always seem to happen the turn after I colonize a planet. The game just vanishes in a puff of smoke... Well maybe not.
I have also had this happen to me.
I will downloaded the game, and then also directX 9.c. I played my first game. I enjoyed it, it is going to be a great game. Here's what I found. The Tech times do not refresh, you have to click another tech and then back for the time until discovery to change. Some stars when clicked on list the wrong number of planets and habitable planets. After the first ship is built the shield icon does not go away after the ship is launched. <
I have a question once you begin building ships, if you decide not to build anything, how do you clear the building que. It looks good. I noticed that after I built my first ship and launched it, The planet still had the shield icon like a ship was still in orbit. Also, in the ship design window once a piece was added, I could not remove it. I had to delete the ship and start over. Lastly, it is difficult to tell when you have a ship in orbit. F
That may be why I cannot open the game yet.
Excellent
I am at work. Budgeting issues for an upcoming project. Hopefully after the meeting... I just have to stay focused... Must pay bills...
