There is a new beta up that will resolve the issues with Chrom on Win7 and the oversize start buttons. It's best to uninstall, reboot, and install to make sure all files are removed.

Betas are the worst (but they are also sort of fun in a sick sort of way) A number of the changes in this build are for mixed DPI. If you are having issues, we need to know your OS and version (Win-key+R, type winver, select OK), how many monitors, what DPI they are at. Thanks!

If Fences fails to activate via the internet then it should prompt for an offline activation mode. Is it not? If not, you should contact support at https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Without fences windows loads way faster. With fences there definitely is a noticeable slowdown. Maybe it is not an issue with the software, but that definitely is a possibility.
And why we are requesting data. :)

We review all the data received and do our very best to fix the problems we can. Oftentimes the issue is not with our software at all but we try to track it down.

IP restarts the Explorer process as part of the applying process. It's normal. It should, however, come back. Further, "Fences Settings" should only appear when the config window is open and should only run once at most. To find the version, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Fences Right click on Fences and select Properties Select Details. Look for File Version.
Windows 10 was released approximately 15 months ago. If Windows 10 is not a supported operating system for Object Dock "right now", when exactly were you (Stardock) planning on supporting it?
Win10 support is still something we are deciding if we are going to do. It will require a complete rewrite (as the lead dev was something like 16 years old at the time of it's creation) and the code has . . issues.
Just a follow-up... I installed Start10 v1.52 beta and it does not resolve this issue. Universal Apps are still missing from the Start10 menu, and clicking the menu item to show the Windows Start menu doesn't do anything. Reply to activation in ObjectDock

The database says that's a classic version of ObjectDock you have (1.90). Sadly, ObjectDock is not supported on Windows10.

The dev team is working on this. MS has not made it easy for external software to know what is going on. Turning off translucency should make things work better while we see what can be done.
