What you describe appears to be a limitation of IE. It's interesting how the major browsers all handle removing tabs differently; skinned or unskinned.

The 2008 code will not work in the 2012 or 2016 version. YOu will need to purchase anew.

Start10 (and Start8) settings are stored in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8 Simply back that up and restore it as needed.

What you see is the top of the icon in the row below. Try changing the size of the fence or the size of the icons.

On the Pages tab you can drag the different pages around to change the order. The first one will be the default.

I may not have enough context to answer your question. More of the desktop might help. What style are you using and also, what size?
