The sorting options are pretty good in Fences but I'm not sure what commonality the Steam shortcuts have that you can sort on.

The word start is an image. If you look in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Start8\StartButtons you can see other examples of buttons. By using those as a template, you should be able to make your own button using an image program. If you decide to make one, you can upload it to https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/start8 so other people can use it.

I was able to reproduce and have passed it along to the devs. You can still rename groups in the default start screen (I use my right Win-key for that).

What you are seeing is leftover code from Fences 1. Some things were translated then but new features have no translation. I believe that the next release will be English only until a fuller translation is decided on.

What version of Start8 are you using? What version of Win8? What style of menu are you using? Thanks

There is no 1.6. Only 1.26. And there is only one version of 2.x, no free or Pro anymore an you have 2.x on your account. You can access your registrations and download links by logging in with your Stardock account at https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products or installing through Stardock Central (currently in beta but available at https://www.stardock.com/products/stardockcentral/ ).

Try running the exe as admin.
