A rather simple one in a three-way form to say the truth. This thread is to honour all you believe is important in the skinning world. So here we go:

a. Who do you think are the masters of the craft?
b. Who do you think are the new blood around?
c. Who do you consider as your personal favourite (and not necessarily famous or top in charts)?

Well, I would have to say I respect and admire all the skinners. But...if I had to pick one, I guess I would have to says Tiggz (because he's evil lol).Okay Tiggz..dont hurt me lol. As for who do I think the new blood around is..well I think these 3 Geyster, Pinchecl, Olaf Neilsen just to mention a few really have great potential and I admire their work as I admire all work. And as my personal favorite skinner I would have to say Snowman for the following reasons...he's always been encouraging to me tried to push me towards my best potential.I admire his work and I get inspiration from his work. Hope this answers your question.

Too many to list all but here are a few:
treetog
Hippy
voo (vf)
Steve Moss
dangeruss
and the list goes on and on and on and on.....

b. Who do you think are the new blood around?

same as above too long a list, but I wont pick out any specifics. Everyone is doing what they do best.

c. Who do you consider as your personal favourite (and not necessarily famous or top in charts)?

Favorite skinning artist: dangeruss (specially for his WinStep suite, made years ago)
Favorite wallpaper artist: deaddreamer aka misery (realitysquared closely follows at 2nd spot)
Favorite icon artist: JamesT

a.Treetog, Z71, Essorant, Grayhaze, Bose, Gef, APB......
b.Tiggz, PixelPirate, Ingui, Brewman, Yangge, Pinchel.... (not really sure if they are new blood or not)
c.Fow Windowblinds I'd have to say Essorant. For a young fellow he has put out a lot of quality skins and they are the skins that I use most. For Icons it's Yangge for Objectdock and APB for Iconpackager. For walls Kenwas. DX is Gef, Don't want to leave out Martin although I'm not sure that skinning is his thing. For Sysmetrix it's Pinchel (although I gone to using Rainmeter)

There's a whole lot of really good skinners so it's hard just to select a few.

My favorites... and there are many greats that won't be named... are Michael Brandt, MikeB, Danillo, kenwas, sbgfx, Tiggz, mormegil, essorant, and many others. My personal favorite is sbgfx, because I love to do walls, and he does them like no other. His work has inspired me to get better and better. My favorite piece of all time is that Scorpion wall by Dangeruss. Simply incredible.

Masters: Treetog, The folks at SkinPlant and Essorant.

New Blood: I'm too far out of the loop these days to know

Personal Favourite: Of all time, probably the old Sonique skinners like supa, Luke, Pordey, Wreck, misery etc...
