Recycle Bin

My Recycle bin stays on my desktop and i dont want to hide it under a shortcut because i feel like i might move it (don't ask) and i was wondering how i could get it off. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Use IconX, in object desktop. After installing it, go to the (Options section).

Or, use TweakUI (Desktop section). TweakUI, can be downloaded from www.download.com or others download website.

If you're using Windows XP Professional you can remove the Recycle Bin without extra tools this way:
Click 'Start -> run'"
Type gpedit.msc (click ok)
Browse to 'User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Desktop'
Locate 'Remove Recycle Bin icon from the desktop', doubleclick it
Check off 'Enabled' and click OK
If the icon doesnt get removed right away, log off and log in again.
