Game Crash Under 1.8.497102

While I was playing a game under 1.8.497102 the game crashed and I got the window shown below.  Every time I try to restart the game, after the initial splash screen the game crashes and I get the same window.  I even restarted my machine and I get the same thing.  I am not even getting to the main menu screen.  Did a new version get pushed that is broken?

Exact same thing just happened to me, first time the game crashes on me since Supernova came out. I thought it was my computer overheating due to the size of the galaxy and number of objects in my late game but I am reading messages that it is happening quite a bit. Frogboy just said in the Steam forums that same thing just happened to him, it is an update to the Steam achievements that apparently did it, fix coming within the next few minutes.

Samething happened.  I uninstalled the game, deleted all save games and purged onedrive and local data.   System still crashes at splash screen.  Graphic drivers are up to date.  RTX4090

Fix is up.  See other post. Very annoying!
