To the WC Admins:
I know that you are busy migrating to new servers but do you have a rough estimate of when the process will be completed? There are a couple of winstyle themes that have been unavailable for several weeks now.

i cant download anything that was summited during the move.

ok, i am having a lot of trouble refreshing my skins and themes libraries for both wincustomize and stardock. i have tried refreshing, refreshing site-updates, closing the program and restarting. i have tried removingt the lib.ini in winbrowser (and the data file for wincustomize). both suggestions given to previous postings.

since there have been few other responses about this issue being posted i assume that nobody else is having this problem? does the fault lie at my end? sometimes the libraries turn up, but only after a long rigmarole of refreshing and re-refreshing. any ideas anyone?

vasgo - I just ran the refresh libraries and it worked fine. Both WC and SDC use the same library file, so if you get one the other will work. The fact that it comes and goes makes me think it's on your end. You might try an un-install/re-install on one of them and see if that works. Log out before you do it.

In Regards to the Libraries not working.  What is the contents of your library.ini?  Is it an HTML page.  If so, delete it then Refresh Site Data.

thank you yrag, and t-man. i think i may have found a work around. after uninstalling wincustomize/stardock and running the latter only, the wincust libraries (and contents) appear innitially but then upon refreshing although the libraries.zip file registers as downloading, when it displays, the categories are shown but the contents are not. further, when i click on the lib.zip file, it registers as corrupted.

i have found however though if i select refresh site updates first THEN refresh the wincustomize lib's this seems to work.

I am having serious problems. It won't let me upload anything to the site. It says that the page that i'm looking for cannot be found (the page that usually tells you that your skin has been successfully uploaded). I'm mainly trying to upload logons and wallpapers. Can somebody tell me what's wrong?

I uploaded 2 wallpapers and had been waiting for them to be approved but they disappeared? Was this due to the site transfer? They were there then today i clicked 'my skins' and all there is is the one I just uploaded today. Just wondering if I should re-upload the others.

Actually it probably meant they were rejected. You don't get an e-mail if they are rejected.

Oh, well thats encouraging. ALL of my wallpapers rejected? Were they that bad? Great way to start. Thanks.

Upload has not been working for me for quite some time, I keep getting the same thing, page you are looking for can not be found.

Ok...The last few days a lot of glitches. Several times I cannot access the site at all.

A few times I just get a blank page saying, 'Service Unavailable'.

When I do access the site I get a 'Data Base Connection' error when ever I go to any library or the message board.

I know you guys are working on it...Just thought that might help

i cant upload.. havent been able to for a while.. are there limitations on uploads, but no error messages?

other than the internal server errors i've never gotten an error message.. it was actually uploaded for like a day, and it said it would upload within 3-4 days or something.. that was 2 weeks ago and it still isnt up, and it disappeared the one day.. its nothing bad, it just mysteriously disappeared... i am about ready to give up or find another site. i understand you're migrating servers right now, but still.. they werent before, and i had problems..

And how are these new submissions coming in? It has to be working for some people..

It is working for some people and not others. Actually some people are viewing things that others looking at this same site can not see. I know because I have been there. I submitted something a couple weeks ago and after many, many tries it finally got through without an error page. I thought it had been rejected until I received an e-mail that it had been accepted and there was a link. When I clicked on the link there it was with comments, but I still could not see it at WinCustomize. I wrote to one of the people commenting and they said they could see it but friends of theirs could not. I am back to getting error pages again so I just gave up. I think in time if they are aware of these things they will be fixed.

I have wrestled with this same problem for a week now. I am going to try your work-around. My problem started when I DLed SDC 112 that auto updated itself to Version 1.15a 217, build: 31, and although the Libraries appear to download forever, all I get are empty icons. I have even re DLed SDC but still have the same trouble with the "Skins and Themes" Libraries.

Will soon let you know how the work-around works for me.

everytime i log into my account and i try to change my theme manager it clicks over to another citizen login whats up ??

My problem is nothing next to what some people are going through. Thankfully I can still get all the skins, that is the most important thing for me. Consider me Happy.
