Upgrade from Fences 3 to 4

from Stardock Forums

I have Fences 3 and just purchased version 4.  I have Windows 10. Can I install version 4 over the existing version 3 or do I need to uninstall version 3 before installing version4?

No, that's not necessary. You do not have to run the purge bat just to upgrade, but you should uninstall version 3 and reboot before installing version 4.

If I run the purge then I will not not lose my fences? If I do not run purge and just uninstall the older version then I will lose my fences?

Hello,

Just follow the instructions in Reply#1 and install 4 .

and report back here if you have any issues or

if all is OK ... it should be ..
