New submission, need comments before I submit... Take it easy on me please...LOL

Ok I have created another wall paper and this is the theme...

It is called American Omega, I am sure you can see why. I made this purposely dark because all of the cool things you can use for bright icons and the what not. Like a cool wally for a space theme or something. I am open to suggestions to improve this and make it as best I can... Now I do like it currently and am only looking for a couple critiques to make it better, not change it....Originally the sun was completly black with a blue ora, but I decided to give it some depth and ligthing inside of it...

I hope you like, ,, PS7 Wacom and mouse... this is not the full size...

Unfortunately, you don't run this site, so those decisions are not yours to make. As I said, you will have to take your chances with moderation if you want your work on this site. That is what everyone else does, and I'm afraid you are not a special case.

And, there are no cliques here, I can assure you of that.

No cliques?

/me hangs her head low and pouts...

Actually people are much nicer on this forum than ever before. I think that's a change in the right direction...but that certainly doesn't mean anyone should have to take any sort of abuse... There are people who give SOOOOOOOO much of themselves here and for what? For the betterment of everyone...not a single cent.

Golly, put your extra time here and see how fast your temper flares up. hehe

I'd say these folk are vergin on sainthood...or on some REALLY good drugs.

oh and I was just told in an email that it would be fine to put this in the skinning site next time... So that is what I will do...

hmmm I just put this on my desktopn and it is really not that bad. I see where I can make some improvements right off the bat. Like for one I don't know if I like the blue icecycles hanging down and I believe that part should be lower than what it currently is... Also a bright white glowing moon would be nice for the other side.

I also don't think I like the gloss on the bottom flame part...

However, the sperm is cool I think...

Looks like Hell, literally. This should be in the creation versus evolution thread.

naitsirch79, just to clarify.
Yes a lot of people use filters, but, and here's where it gets a little complicated. Some filters and especially plugins are seen as overused. For instance, on those aqua Mac type buttons you see so often, there are tutorials all over the web to make them and they all use filters, but the buttons are built up with small effects like inner shadow, guassian blur, stroke, etc. as opposed to slapping an Eye Candy bevel on a circle. Lens Flare is one of those overused filters that are usually seized on by beginners because "it looks so cool".
When you can use filters without it looking like you used filters, then you have something. Of course, as Shmoopy said, art you still must make.

I was one of the biggest cry babies here when my stuff got rejected... BUT...it made me WANT to be better and strive even harder

Shmoop: I was the biggest

I like what naitsirch did. I am glad people can now try to get criticism how to BETTER their work, without being HAMMERED. I am very happy one can put it in the skinning message board. I have to say naitsirch not ever tried to play tit for tat, and he/she got some harsh unnecessary comments to swallow. After all wouldn't we all want to improve?

Not true. I have seen many since I have been here.

Sirius? That was a dumb comment... Think about it. It is like saying Pamela Anderson looks great without makeup... No she doesn't... and i never say anything without backup...

I think Shmoopy proves what I'm saying. Besides, let's face it, Pamela Anderson isn't exactly Miss America. Sarah Michelle Gellar is, and she looks great without the filters on her.

You know, getting back to a point made by Jafo, for what it is worth I would not tollerate the addition of private libraries inside the message board at all...

Showing a screen shot, a thump nail or some such is the accepted norm, or emailing an attachment to someone.

But what *is* the point of moderation if people just post it in a thread anyway?
