Culling project and Death Furnace not working.

Here is the prime production planet. NO project.

I can't recall if the last time I played Drengi (always Mal with them) was with 1.41 or 1.5 opt. But I am certain that I got a nice boost in production from my HW after building my Death Furnace.

I have a Drengin game going now with 1.5 but it will be a while b4 I have enough Ideology points to check.

Note that the culling project never worked and that if I read correctly devs intended to remove it from the game. This means that the final choice of Unforgiving is quite weak!

It only gives +25% production to all planets. That would seem nice, but +25% of baseline when many planets are already +200% or more doesn't add very much overall production. 

yea I have the death furnace built on the planet next to homeworld. Its bonus of 50% + raw production does not tell me anything in the tool tip. 

OK now I recall that my Drengin game was 1.41. The tool tip did give me the +50% RP. Perhaps someone fat fingered some code for 1.5?

Anyhow, I suggest saving your game and then deleting your Furnace and checking to see if actually production is down. 

in 1.41 with IAB mod death furnaces show up as +50% in the tool tip under raw production.

I have not installed the opt in yet so cannot confirm your 1.5 findings.

Not sure why perks keep breaking with new patches, especially when they often require actual line of text to be changed in the file.

So many ideological traits simply don't work at all (watchful/vigilant 5 under pragmatic and Neutral/negotiator 1 are a few).

So just to be clear, Unforgiving is not worth working for?

OK I did well in the colony rush (Not always easy playing large with all 8 current AI opps) and there was a +20 mega event choice so rather quickly I have my Death Furnace on Drengi.

Indeed it is working properly and giving me more than +50% Raw Prod and when I mouse over RP is states that. 

Ruthless also caused a large boost in Drengi's shipyard production but no where can I find a tool tip stating that.

Unforgiving may need a buff as by the time you get it, adding +25% to the base production figure isn't great since most planets have +200% or even lots more by then. Perhaps for those playing larger maps and able to get more IP from colonizing many planets it might help more. I urge you to try it and judge for yourself (save game first).

In summary, I find no bugs in the Motivation line from 1.41 to 1.5 opt.
