Intel Pentium 5

Intel Pentium 5

has anyone heard about this new (code named Pentium 5) Intel Chip? Word on the street is the memory for your system (SDRAM, DDR, ECT.) is built in to the chip so no upgrading. Anyone heard anything?

First off its old technolgy that motorola had in the 40s,50s and 60s. Every wonder why intel and amd where able to update so quickly? Thats because it was already there. They paid the rights to motorla to get the specs, hell look at the chip sets and the motherboards, and youll find it takes a motorla to run that system of yours. The Real kicker is the Itanium which is an Amiga clone which I find Ironic. ITs based on the same specs of the Hombre that Amiga had in 1989. Thats why the Itanium is called an Hombre clone - a great thing mind you. Forget about the inane x86 crap its outdate to begin with.

Sure Peff. All us skinners will make skins faster with faster computers / software...

Do just about anything on your computer and notice if the computer is waiting on you, or you're waiting on the computer.

/me points finger derisively at Ryan and wonders whether version 8025 was any smarter...

hey watch it, you never knew when it might be loaded, and that finger could be leathal!

More people get poked by fingers thought to be safe than those who are actually ment to be poke by one know not to be safe!

By the way, might I interest you in our new line Stinger Finger Lock Tight with anti-fungle wrapper SP1? It will ensure that your finger does not go off unexpectedly poking someone without meaning to, keep those class action lawsuits to a minimum. Also with SP1 we had an issue where people were calling in because after a weeks use of the product finger nails started to yellow, thicken and fall off. We traced the problem back to development and it seems one of the rent a drun, ah, contract engineers spilled his bee, ah, tea on the directions we reverse, ah, dilligently ground our noses to the stone for untold months in dev-research, for mixing the anti-fungle wrapped and missed the *anti* additive all together.

kona, we know what you meant. Jafo was, with a curve your way, basically telling Optimal that his conspiracy theory makes no sense.

Two quick, simple notes:

1. x86 architecture is, honestly, anything but out of date. AMD with x86-64 is more than proving that. Intel's little foray into RISC computing (IA-64) is actually showing to be Mhz per Mhz way /less/ efficient than the current state of x86 (though granted, x86 architecture does have a 20+ year optimization advantage.)

2. I'm out of cigarettes. I haven't had a cigarette today. I've finally decided to stop smoking... one of you will most likely be dead by my hands before the day is over. ^_^ Even my roommate is hiding from me.

most don't

circles inside of cricles over-lapped with circles and picking out which junction holds any real meaning be hard enough, proving the precieved results out almost impossible...

though out of all chaos forms structure and comformity, just have to put the correct pieces together in the correct order, or you get stuck with something like, oh, terrorism?

anyway...

I'm as deep as a well need to be to hit water in florida and that's what 2 feet?

I'm sorry. I really enjoy chatting with you guys and gals. I don't want to step on anyone's feet.

kthxbye kudos on the no smoke! Wish I could do it too. Something that always seemed to help to cut back was when the urge hit was to bounce or tap a pencil while doing something else, like being online or reading.

breaking the conditioning part, the chem dep is a kill though..

kona, naa..

That might be hard to do, some of us got these huge homking feet that look like Bozo's shoes but not red, well, maybe after a few misplaced steps they get a little pinkish

really though, people will let you know if that might happen and also be understanding of the fact that the typed word leaves much of the art of communication out of the mix so it isn't an exact science inturpiting what a person is saying sometimes. Benifit of the doubt, court rules

Well unless someone tells another off directly which leaves no room for doubt

Well, I was -supposed- to do it a week ago - but I kept wussing out and buying another pack. The 'good' thing (I suppose,) is that I /did/ manage to slow down a /lot/ - so trying to be optimistic, I keep telling myself that it's not as /much/ of a nicotine fix that my body's got to get over. ^_^

Fortunately, I don't think the habitual part is going to be -too- hard to break.. as long as I stay away from the car, or don't play any console games, for the next few weeks. ^.^

That chemical dependency though? It's currently telling me in its seductive, dulcet tones that I should kill. *whimpers*
