Fences loads OK, but I can't move icons or add to the desktop. I'm using Version 1.01.113 but can't locate where to get the newer version 2.0v2.13
Any help is appreciated.
That version is very old and will never work. You need to be a subscriber of Object Desktop or purchase Fences again. There are no more free versions. There is a trial version.

I did purchase it originally but never did any updates since it always worked so well.
So you are saying that I am not eligible for the latest download and have to pay once more?
as far as I know after 8 years here you will have to pay for it again. There have been several version updates since the one you have which would warrent you to have to purchase again.
Since the version you have doesn't work I would uninstall it and download the 30 day trial and see how you like it. Then you could purchase it if you like it which I'm sure you will.
You might be able to upgrade at a discount. Towards the bottom of this page there is a line " Own Fences Pro? Click here to see if you qualify for upgrade pricing." I don't know what the requirements are.

Well, I had to laugh...Has it been 8 years? I guess I can spring for another 10 bucks.
I'll try the new free one for a month and se how it works.
Will I lose all my pretty boxes that I have had for those 8 years when I uninstall my old version?
