Did I read wrong or was it said that you could only get 9 layers in PSP 7?

I have had more then 50 "for real" going and the only thing that ever happened to me was that it would not let me make any more and I had to merge some. I was trying to do a whole cursor set on one PSP file.

I was going to say the same Keila, I use 7...AE and I don't recall limits on layers. I am not sure, but there may be a setting in the prefs you can set to adjust them...???

Sorry to cause confusion. This should explain my idiot mistake er uh...misunderstanding (yeah that's the ticket!) as Werwolf so nicely and politely put it http://www.darkseraphim.com/layersINpsp.jpg (still banging my head against my puter).

The silliest part is...I have Photoshop and Painter 7 and use that type of layer palette all the time but for some reason I never did in PSP because I liked accessing the layers without the tool palette because it didn't get in my way...but the problem was...well you'll see by the link. !

I'm just glad to have learned something new/old about my favorite art prog (LMAO)...guess I can learn some new tricks!

/me decides to see if she should read the manual on her toaster before making toast...just to be sure. pfft!

Okay, everybody stop laughing. I mean it!

Oh never mind...I'm still laughing at me.

That's okay, Koasati...I like over-explaining my stupid mistakes (at least a few times) to be sure everyone knows I goofed.

Fortunately, in this case I'm happily humbled and giddy with new possibilities. Plus, I kinda think it's hilarious! (In an annoying, kicking self in seat-of-pants kinda way).

Opps, now I see it, it must have been the bold lettering that caused my eyes to glaze over, that and all the woodsmoke from my fireplace backdrafting...
