The one draw back to getting on so many great people go before it is your time to join them another star in my life is dimmed , but i feel lucky to have been  around when they were doing their thing rather than read about it.

Strange for an April Fool's joke, but Dennis Hopper died in 2010.

Even the article linked to says it was in 2010.  Hey Giz, was this a result of bad eyesight or something?  o_O

Quoting WebGizmos, reply 14

Now this is a bit of sad news "The inventor of the pet rock has passed away http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/gary-dahl-creator-of-the-pet-rock-dies-at-78/ar-AAaigSL?ocid=ansnewsap11
End of WebGizmos's quote

I wasn't at all impressed with the pet rock idea... bought one and it died on me, just when I'd gotten attached to it, too.

Took it to the beach with me and it drowned.  Like how was I supposed to know it couldn't swim! :-"

Oh what a fool am I!  Went to do an edit and quoted myself instead.... so now I gotta edit here as well.

It's what happens to one when one doesn't get any sleep and one is overtired, and one is not concentrating.

I share your pain it is 01:25 am have a few hundred mile drive ahead of me today should be in bed. have been to bed work up had a chocolate drink bit of time on here and will try again , Look on the bright side not needing (or getting ) sleep gives you more time to keep these forums ticking along and lets face it they need your input.

Yeah, input is great, but sleep would be nice[r]  I've been up for 36+ hours now... pain/discomfort induced insomnia.

Hehe, maybe if I tired myself out with another kind of 'input' I could drift off to sleep afterwards. :-" :w00t:

I tried to fall to sleep again watching Heart TV 50 greatest Love Songs but too good to miss , so ended up taking a photo as each track came on posting it on our facebook site so we know the running order (on again next Monday set box up to record it) and already had likes from all of mine even at this early hour as they get ready for work and then heading to Southend as we are all going some time today , half on trains other half in cars.
