USA Today states that the police believe there are multiple people involved. They say the handwritting doesn't match on some of the notes they have received.

They also quoted the post script on one of the notes as saying, "Your children are not safe anywhere, at any time." Now there's a tough guy...threatening the children. >

I know it doesn't make it less scary, but don't forget that statistically you still have more chances to die from a car accident in the DC area that being killed by the sniper.

I don't know if they have him. He has a similar gun though. But I heard that those guns are all over the place. It will be a fw days before we really know what is going on. At least until the bullistics are done.

Is careful as the news agencies and the sheriff was about not incriminating the guy it ould seem every one want him to be the guy. If it is good. But if its not that is one guy who has now got a bad reputation on his hands.

Lets hope for the best. Maybe this is the break in the case we have ben waiting for. Something has got to come of this.

I had been wondering why there was so much police protection at their arraignments.... I think I know now.

Which book was it that had them rehabilitating criminals, until they really loved life and society and had a full and promising future ahead of them... and then they shot them (reasoning that taking something of no value from someone is missing the point somehow)? 1984?
