well, i had a disaster marriage once myself -- lasted all of two years -- lol. second one, 12 years. no third time is a charm for me -- haha. not gonna do THAT again! not that i'm aware of anyway

I was just wondering how to confess... since all this talk of being married.... I am a, a... Spinster! I gave my heart to the wrong one once, then when I retrieved it I thought I should wait until I was sure. That hurt too much. There have been some close calls... but when the balance was between independence and marriage I always thought my heart should be more involved. It seems like I am growing up at a slower pace than other people, I have some rebuilding to do in my life, some more living to be done. If something happens along the way, maybe. I am trusting my heart to tell me.

2 things. One make it really good(you do anyway)or two bring it into a paint program so it isn't a stand alone piece of Bryce. Just up load one and see. Only you will know if you get rejected unless you tell it on the message board.

LadyWolf.... I haven't downloaded a lot of wallpapers. My connection was so slow it is hard to get them open sometimes. I was looking forward to really seeing yours, they looked good! I hope you keep doing them, and submitting them.

thx elvee appreciate that ... but i suppose the abstract walls are going to get slammed a bit as there are so many of them ... but that's all i know how to do -- lol. anyway, onward and upward ... GoodMorphing, you said exactly how i feel: the balance between independence and marriage should definitely involve the heart ... my heart just hasn't been involved for awhile ... so i took that to mean that i should be single and independent for awhile longer that and my youngest child just left home -- time for this grandma to start a little living on her own i figure at 46, i still have a few good years left

HEH... I hate that word, too! That is why it is hard to confess to being this old and never married. People seem to think that implies that there was something defective about a single woman, sometimes. There really is nothing that bad about me. No troubles with the law, no drugs, no alcohol problems. Is there a better word? Spinster is an angry, hateful word.

Kind of hard to come up with a one word term like bachelor. I don't like bachelorette much either! Single-and-loving-it...SALI... too close to silly! HEH... I will just use single.
