To use Blizards terminlogy soon(tm).  Btw have you seen these reviews of the game http://worthplaying.com/article/2010/10/3/reviews/77287/ and http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/index.cfm?reviewid=3242258 ?  Seems that now 1.09 is out more people are finding the game playable. Here's to even more positive reviews with the upcoming expansions.

Don't think it's Diablo 3 and even if so, I'm not preordering. Not after what Blizzard did to Starcraft 2. =P

Other than that I dunno of any releases that would register on the Richter scale.

My big releases on my Nerdar, are Elemental, Civ 5, Fable 3, and Fallout, and all those will be out by the end of the month I think...

I love this thread.

Apparently, WoW Cataclysm comes out 12/7.

Anyway, even if Blizzard did naughty things to SC2... I wouldn't know, didn't feel like playing it, I will definitely be getting Diablo 3.

They tuned SC2 to be a multiplayer-only game.
That's fine when playing multi but... most of the campaign is about twitch play and getting rushed to achieve an objective before X happens so a lot of missions leave me with a "yuck, finally done with that one" feeling.

SC1 just has more replay value there. I replayed the SC1 campaings many times but I can't imagine ever replaying the SC2 one.
The custom map "popularity" disaster doesn't help, either.

So they lost the benefit of the doubt with this customer.
Oh, I might well end up getting D3 anyway but first I'll want to see if they dumbed it down to some one-button console control scheme or cooked up similiar... innovations.

I don't care when it's released, as long as the release version fixes all the stuff everyone has been talking about in this forum for the past 4 weeks.
