Is there any spyware or malware in Stardock Fences Beta 0.98 (free version)

I posted a link to your free "Fences" program. 

A clan member of my gaming organisation has said this is full of spyware as per below 

 

danger will robinson, Danger!! spyware, spyware!! lolol I think i know the way around my desktop by now lol!! Good idea though for those less organise.... :

 

Can I have an official response from Stardock as to whether this is true or not ?

There is only spyware in copies of Fences, or any other Stardock Product, IF, and ONLY IF, you get it from a warez site. If it is a cracked copy, it will likely have all sorts of things wrong with it, and deservedly so.

Legitimate Stardock products have ZERO spyware! I should know, I have been using them for years.   :grin:

This was based upon what, actually getting spyware when they downloaded Fences, a security report or just opinion?  What was the basis of the comment?

No spyware in Fences, nor the Fences installer.  However, it is not impossible that [INSERT SECURITY SOFTWARE X HERE] detected something in the installer as a false positive.  If your clanmate can let you know what he's using to identify the threat, and what it's being detected as, we can work to get the false positive cleared up.
