Incorrect behavior of the Alt key.

Windows Version Number: Windows 11 26H1 (Build: 28000.2704)
App Version: 0.9.5 Beta

I noticed something. When switching apps using Alt+Tab, the switch to the app works fine, but the focus shifts to a specific element within the app itself. Essentially, the Alt key behaves as it normally does. By the way, this problem doesn’t occur with the standard Windows task switcher. If needed, I can record a video to demonstrate this so you can better understand the issue.

Honestly, this is very annoying, especially when typing - I have to click with the mouse on the right spot every time just to keep typing, for example.

I can't actually see the issue on your video, perhaps try few more applications opened, might help to see it better.

Here's an even better example. You can clearly see here that the focus is on “File” in MPC HC. (Pressing the spacebar opens the menu, and sometimes the Play button is pressed.) As you can see, there are no issues with the standard toggle - the focus isn't on “File,” and the Play button is always active when switching to the player.

Hi Spuner_, and thanks for posting.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the issue as described.  You had said:

The videos you shared shows switching between Media Player Classic Home Cinema, and your File Explorer Downloads folder.

Could you possibly give us an example of app where you're typing that's causing a problem?

If it's something you can demonstrate where you need to type, like Notepad, for example, that could help to see if we can reproduce that behavior.

No problem. If you want a notepad, here's a notepad.
