You're Banned!: The Forum Game

Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for, what about it?

Banned for, I thought that this organization protects animals in America :|

I know that there are still lots of people who dont care about animals, but at least the A.H.A. is something.

Banned for forgetting the all-pervasive ASPCA.

Banned for being a doomsayer

banned for not loving doomsayers.

Most people I know love animals. I'm no different, although I go for birds, turtles, etc. I don't want to see dogs or cats hurt either, but I would look to someone else to take one in, cause I'm not really equipped for them. But, I have had pets before that were sick enough where they needed to be put down. It's not a happy thing, of course, but once in a while it's better than trying to hang in there and make them pay for it. I wish the cat all the luck, but do make decisions with your head and not your heart.

Banned because that makes sense, but it can get a little excessive. My family had a cat with some kind of kidney problem, and my mom decided to put her down because otherwise she would need some kind of monthly medical treatment that was slightly painful, but would otherwise be fine.

banned for everything in moderation. Of course it's excessive to put down everything that gets a little scratch. It's a judgement call that's not always easy to make, and might mean that you have to put yourself out a little, whether it be by admisnistering medicine daily or by suffering the emotional consequences of loss. I would disagree with your mother's choice, but I had a bird who developed a lung tumor and it was edging toward suffocation. Surgery was not an option given the tumor size, location, and age of the bird. So it really depends on the details and you still might be unsure of your decision. Point is to carefully weigh the situation, keeping a level mind, because otherwise one's emotional attachment might prove unfair to the suffering creature.

Well, I know only 1 person, a good friend of mine, who loves animals (except for my mother, who loves animals even more than I do). Nobody else seems to care though.

Your mom probably didnt want to go through the trouble of giving treatment to the cat once a month. Seems really insensitive.

That strikes me as very unusual, but it wouldn't be the first time I've had very different experiences from another.

Sorry to hear. Just take comfort in knowing that you tried your best and that you had the best intentions.

I figured the same.

Banned for, its kinda hard not to get pissed of, when I learn from my friend (the one who found the cat), that his mother threw the cat on a field, 50 kilometers away. Yeah, she killed that cat.

Its pretty common in my neighborhood. Some people might even throw poisoned food to their neighbor's dog, because they are annoyed by it. I never had a dog, but some of my neighbors' dogs "mysteriously" died in 1 night, while being 100% healthy.

My problem is with how my guild leader behaved. Is it just me or was that a RuneScape Gold breach of trust, especially since I later learned that another officer had been in on it the whole time? I honestly felt like he'd slapped me in the face, since I'd worked so hard to RS Gold real life issues dealt with so I could go back to that guild, and the first thing he did was trick us like that. I've since left the guild, due to further remarks about "some of us having real lives outside of Buy WOW Gold" from that guild leader, but it still bothers me, especially since none of my former friends from there will even speak to RuneScape Gold now.
