Firefox 3 menu skinning

One of the features of the new Firefox 3 web browser was supposed to be native widgets and menus.  I'm noticing that with FF3.0 and WB6.11(Build 58)/XP-SP2, all my Firefox menus are using Windows Classic theme.  Is Stardock working on better Firefox support?

Firefox has always used classic menus as far as I know. It is one of the reasons I don't use it. :)

I don't have FF3, I guess I should see what's new with it from a skinning sense.

Your mouseovers are skinned.. the menu background however, isnt. At least not in stock FF3.

and if you try to make the mouseover look good, you will run into a highlighting problem on your menu text in other programs. Damnd if you do, damned if you don't. :)

I think some of you are confusing classic color schemes with skinned menus, and remember i am running XP not Vista. I tried tonight with "Ultimate Blue" (a vista clone) and RaptureXP. A good way to compare the menus is to open Windows Explorer and hit the Favourites menu. Switch to FF3 and hit Bookmarks, the menus are very different.

The favorites isn't a good example.  It's skinned differently because it's  . . well . . different.

Fuzzy, that looks like a simple gradient.. show me one with some graphics other than a mousover. That box that the icons sit in is done by FF.

No one I know has skinned menu backgrounds in FF3, In fact I had to make a complete new substyle for Rapture with light menus strictly for FF3

All the Explorer menu backgrounds look the same for me, it doesn't matter that I posted the Favourites menu. The only difference in appearance (I'm not sure how it works under the hood) is the lack of site icons.

Maybe its in WB settings.. Advanced settings- I would like windowblinds to use Vista UI guidleines when skining menus??
Nope, Tried that.

Fuzzy at this point this is either a cruel joke or ur doing something extra to get menus skinned. NO wb I use will force skinning of FF3 menu's. :NOTSURE:

No special settings, no weird add-ons or different versions, just good old fashioned skinning  ;)

Haven't figured out the Bookmark Toolbar button text colour yet - that's next on my list ;)
