Whispering to people with spaces in their name

Earlier today I was trying to send a whisper to my friend Lord Exile. However when I was sending the message, the game kept telling me that there was no user named Lord online. Is there a way to send whispers to people with spaces in their names?

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to deal with spaces in names (for now).
