                      First Off I want to apologise to those whome seen I tryed to bail out! It Really wasnt Like that at ALL! First thing that Happened Was that my laptop was messing up badly. I had to reinstall windows which  didnt take very long and then install all my programs again Includeing Object Desktop. This didnt take very long. I also am still haveing a few problems with installation which are being worked out In the forums (I Hope). The Big Picture is that my laptop SUCKS!  The Battery needs to be replaced doesnt hold a charch AT ALL and on top of that the power cord on the back is messed up so when you move the laptop turns off!?!?!?!?!?!? Grrrrrr. It is so hellacious! Its so hard to be on this computer without smashing it! TO PEICES!!! But I can controll myself so its whatev. IBut the Bright side is that I am getting a new Laptop within about 2 months at most (I HOPE) I am SOOO EXITED!  Was more up to date it is a dell inspuron so it will run allot better better quality on output and ITS NEW!!!. Anyways I am Keeping this open so that all of your requests and Ideas Will still be heard by others that maybie want to make a sound Package. But for now I am Holding off on any serious creation on this pc. I will stick with decorating it. And doing screenshots.  I surprisingly dont have allot of problems when doing that. EXCEPT WHEN IT TURNS OFFFFF!!!! Huuuuhhh! But Keep On Posting Those Idea and requeststs! The Chimes one i replyed about is one of the first I will do when I get My pc! But the day i get my pc I could have 4 or 5 done and Uploaded by the end of the next day so Come on. They dont take too long ot do. AND I WILL WANT TO BE ON THE COMPUTER ALLL DAYYY LONGGGGG! Something to do? NEW!!! Im an idiot its my first new computer and its only a laptop but I am going to college and i need a laptop for class becuase i can type faster than i can write.  LOTS OF NOTES PEEp's say its just easier? I dont know Plus I  Only need a Laptop for now I mean come on I like with MOM! LOL!  When I get a house and get finished with school I will get a Desktop! Oh and I want the DELL XPS M2010 The portable desktop? Ok now I have told my whole life story so I dont have anything else to say except:......

                This Artical Is a place for the community to put in any ideas or requests they have regarding Sound Packager and Sound Schemes. It is also a Place to REPORT! BUGS! If you are experiencing any problems with any of my sound packages then you can adress them here as well. Thirdly this is the place That I will report Updated on sound packages and Inform ya'll about sound schemes that I will be doing when they will be ready and finally when they are uploaded this information will be found here?

 

Important: If you post a request,being something you want me to make specifically for you then you need to keep in touch with me somehow and this will be the place. I appreciate all your posts.

I try to keep a soundpackage on for at least 2 or 3 days to give it a chance to "grow" on me. I like the Ambient Echoes theme the most possibly because it's the most complete but also because the sounds are different from each other enough to realize somethings happened. As far as what I'd like to see.....a really sexy female voice set, no one has done Star Wars yet...........the opportunities are wide open. :)

Have been looking for this for a while. How about a sound package based on the classic sci-fi movie Colossus: The Forbin Project?

I really like your Soft package. :)  I would like to hear windchimes on my desktop. Something using different chime sounds. Oh btw can you make sexy male voice sounds for the ladies?

Juat to let every one know I am In the Process of Getting a new Laptop.My sound scheme outout will slow down for about a month.Plus I kind of need a little break. Not a full on non working on sounds break. I always working on sounds. I am just going to be working a little slower becuse I am gettin a new dell inspuron and i am shure that my sounds will turn out better on a new pc. This pc is so outdated. Most of the time I record sounds directly from my sound card and I have a horrible sound card. So I am hopeing that onece I get a better one the sound quality of my sound packages will be greater! So I will Be searching around and Takeing notes And maybie Uploading a couple but I would rather wait for my new pc. I didnt even realize till a couple of days ago how bad the sound quality was for the sounds? I will Try to Get the Colossus movie one done and Hopefully the Chimes one that skybright wanted. I just dont want to jip anyone on sound quality when i know it will be better when i get my new pc! So bare with me. And I will do the best i can. I want to update all of my sound packages to a better quality when I have the new pc. so Thank you for your requests and I will do the best i can! THis doesnt mean that you should stop with the requests. When I get started on a package I cant stop and wont stop.So go ahead and request!!!! I am really hopeing to have the laptop sooner that a month so!

Ok you guys Both wulfn1 and Skybright. I Am just going to combine your Ideas into one. A soothing sound package. This will incluse chimey sounds which I would say are very soothing. I plan to name it Serenity.(I will have to check the spelling lol) The reason being is that I can make a whole sound package of wind chime sounds for a few reasons. ONe being that you wont be able to differ the events becuase the sounds will be to similar. Two is that it will be to repetitive to hear wind chimes over and over again. three i cant get my hands on enough real wind chime sounds. The sounds in the package are reminicent of wind chimes with a little more to them. I think you will like it. Its a little vista like so i hope that you like the vista sounds? It is going to be a great package all in all so if it doesnt meet your requirments you will still like it. As for the Wolf pack the same applies. I think that wolf sounds would get a little repetative and There is deffinatly not enough Wolf sounds that i can get my hands on? I can make a animal pack? I dont mean to say no becuase of my onpinion. The true reason is becuse I cant find enough Chime\wolf sounds to make a full pack out of each.


All in all the pack that I am makeing is both soothing and most of the sounds have a chimeish tone too them and some even have chime flourishes. I am going to try to find a Really nice Wind Chime sound for the system start sound. Maybie add some background tone to it? I dont know But I really hope that i dont dissapoint you guys. I think that what I am putting together will please both of you? I hope so and If not I will try again?

Oh ans Skybright- I am looking into that sexy male voice and so far I cant think of a way. I was very lucky to find the resources to do the sexy female voice sound Pack. I am still looking and Thinking so Its not a no yet but it isnt looking good?

About the Chimmey Soothing sounds scheme! Thats still happening but thats when I get my new PC? Sorry. Thay Are ver Quick to make so as soon as I get my new pc I could have 3 to four or even more done the day I get mY pc! I will want to play on it allllll day so keep up the requests and the hopes?lol

Mainstalker- Im sorry that I can not understand your message very well? If you mean how do you add a sound to a sound package then I can answer. Save the sound anywhere. Somewhere that you know you can find it. Go to sound packager and find on the top of the main display NEW PACKAGE! It will ask you to name it and put in the info for the package. When you are done putting in the info for the package another screen will show up. On this screen you will find a button at the bottoom that says IMPORT SOUNDS! Click the button and select the sounds you want in the package...You can view the sounds that you have packaged by clicking PACKAGED SOUND FILES! In this tab is a list of all of the sounds that You have imported by way of my earlier explanation. if there is a check by the name of the sound, the sound is set for an event and if not the sound isnt being used in the package. The Middle tab is Where you can edit the sound schemes info. Change the title, add and icon, set a Preview sound. If you close out of this window and want to edit that package again at a later date or time you can do this by finding the package in sound packager's list of sound schemes on the main windows of sound packager. If you accidentally removed The sound package by clicking remove package it is possible that you only removed the package from the list in sound packager. If this is the case then you can browse your documents folder and in it find the folder STARDOCK. Double click and then find sound packager. Double click that and the folder with all of the sound packages you have made or downloaded are in here. There is also a folder named REMOVED PACKAGES! Try to find the package here. If its not there then its possible that you deleted the sound package and have to put it together again useing the sounds you have made. I hope I have answered your question? If not I am sorry to have waisted your time and you can try to ask me again and maybie that time I will understand better? Thanks Much!

Hey everyone! I just wanted you to know that I made a new sound package and It was uploade just before this post. I follows the requests of Skybright's Chimes Idea and Wulfn1's Soothing sounds idea. It turned out pretty great so keep a look out.

I live near the shore and those sounds are really nice for me. I would love to see something combining the windchimes and a background of the ocean noises (surf , gulls , occasional ship bell or foghorn). then it would sound just like the outside of my home!(minus the ship bells and fog horns,.. I'm not quite that close!)

OH thats A good Idea? Hmmm I may do that? I have Updated the Serenity Sound package. Better sound quality and NO WHITE NOISE! I finally found the trick to removing all of the white noise from sounds that I record. So These sounds are way better that before. I changed Allot of the sounds becuase some where to HIGH pitched and recorded to loud so they didnt sound right. Way better this one but If anyone want the originall I can upload it?

I will try But what I was talking to the artist of the sound pack about maybie haveing her send me her sound files in a zip so that I can work off of them and add more. I woudnt want to make a whole new scheme becuase I dont want to waist her flavor. LOL If she gives me the go I can either make the sounds to add and add them in to her sound pack and send it to her or the other way around. But If not then I am not going to do it becuase I dont want to make a sound package that is more complete or better. I wouldnt want to make hers look bad and I wouldnt want to copy her. You get my gist? Just to let everyone know I am Working On a Sound Package Similar to Serenity. Allot of people like those kind of souds i have been researching. I posted a Link about commenting and found that allot of people dont even like sounds on there pc unless thay are subtle and soothing. No robotic stuff. Sort of like the vista soudns. Just very subltle and not to much. So Right now I am working on one that meets these quide lines. Soothing relaxing and not all in your face. Thats what is seeming to be popular these days.Soif you are into the soundpackages like soft, stellar, stardock 2008 and serenity(by me)then you will have someghing to look forward to. I think that this is the theme I am going to sick to from now on unless someone requests something else. I have found that allot of people dont even use there system sounds unless it is something like serenity, stardock whatev. so I hope you will be waiting on the edge of your seat for this! LOL jk. Just though I should lwt you know. I also have to work on the sound schemes for the two community projects. Happy Birthday and Corroded metal. so I kind of have allot on my plate right now. I am trying to start delivering only the best and most useable packs. Oh and I am also getting into skinning walls wb skins icons and all that. It is allot of proctice and determination. But still requests are open. and that beachy sound pack idea
