one question

I thought they said before that you would be able to build structures on your planet. will there be? or is the planet upgrades considered buildings on your planet? sorry if this is a stupid question.

You build structures in orbit and upgrade your planets. You don't actually place anything on the surface of the planet.

You can build structures in the planets' gravity wells, as well as research planetary improvements (though not specifically place buildings on planet surfaces)
