VOTE FOR SINS! (Please don't cheat!)

VOTE FOR SINS! (Please don't cheat!)

There's a bounty out, send in the pirates!

Alright guys, we held our own against Starcraft II last time (will it even come out in 2008? :P)  and I was pretty impressed with what you guys were able to pull off! This time its going to be tougher so I'm placing a large bounty on them and I need all pirates in the raid to attack asap! Check out http://ve3d.ign.com/poll/194/Most-Wanted-2008-PC-Games and vote for Sins. If we do respectable I'll reveal new material by explaining what's in some of those new screenshots. :)

Edit: Oh and please try and play fair, there seems to be a bit of cheating kicking in - we were doing pretty good without it too :(

I spent a lot of time contacting people to get them to vote and I hate IGN. I'm real pissed now. I therefore asked the same minions SPAM vote for SC2 in retaliation. A new vote should be held.

Despite the cheating debacle I added my vote.

Stupid Azz Cheater(s). Can't even follow the simple request from the devs not to cheat. Probably have now insured that Sins gets a lower place than it would've otherwise had on it's own merit.

Not enough votes on ign....... 264

I voted. I think we should spam every game on that list until a new vote is held.

Cant vote more then once anymore. The only way would be to use an IP proxy and randomize it and that would frankly take way to much time. I do wonder why SC2 has not been reset however. Things that make you go hmmmm....

SINS now at 272, so they reset the vote? thats really ghey. They should have reset the whole thing. SC2 is 1100+ Spore is 60072...um from what Ive seen SPORE is way more in demand.

WTF? 60k??? Surely that is the result of several SPAMMERS. I have never seen ANY of their polls get anywhere near that total. Oh well that is IGN for you. Bullshit from start to finish with a pretty rose tossed in here and there for token beauty. The agenda must be pushed in the direction of vested interests at all costs.

IGN are turning to be real suckers thats for sure...

Bathing in Blizzards money and having a laugh >_<

Oh well...

After we saw recent GameSpot saga what else is to expect from the others!?!?!

I pretty much started to boycott majority of gaming sites as well as printed mags for obvious reasons... And will continue to do so...

Long live independence, truth and objectivity!

eeeeeeeee

Spore only has 700

yea there is no wayyy that some of those games have higher numbers. They need to start a new pole.

AOL. it does exactly that. it gives you a random ip every time you open a page or something like that. All i know is that you randomly get notices on wikipedia based on your ip for stuff other people have done. So likely there's some retarded aoler out there ruining the vote. And yes, they should start fresh. It's only fair.

I dont know how they expect to get accurate results when they reset an entry, if anything they should just check their logs, they could see what point the votes started going up really fast, and delete all votes from the point they started to when they ended. That way you just take out the cheartes votes, and if you end up deletinga few this way or giving a few extra its not gona make much of a differeance anyway, I mean how often does 10-20 votes decide these things? normally 100's or at least 50. Any way they should have just taken sins out rather then restet it, considering the old voters can't vote anymore they basicly excluded SINS anyway

well you knowt that the people that run the site probabluy have a say.

I think that that is the reason that some of them haven't been reset, because some of those games jumped by 500 in 7 hrs.

Theres the proof that he could have indeed filtered out the bad votes. Oh well. Although I am pleased to see that Sins is climbing again.

You only need to delete the ign and v3d cookies. Additionally I never liked the "poll" to begin with since it very ill conceived and badly executed.
