WB 5.5 ?

I posted a topic in GD 3 days ago and it got totally ignored, so I figured I'd give it a go here.

Does anyone know when Vista x64 support for Windowblinds 5.5 is coming? Is it not coming? Are the people on 64 bit going to have to wait for version 6? As you can see I'm just a little annoyed with the fact I was completely ignored when asking this simple question.

I understand that it's not exactly an easy thing to do being the architecture is completely different. All I had heard was "coming soon" over a month ago.. would be cool if some news was brought up about this, or maybe even a beta for us OD subscribers?

I had only heard that we would get a beta of Windowblinds 6 soon (unknown if it would support x64), but I could be mistaken...

If I remember correctly from the ODNT 2008 preview thread, Brad said everything in it would be *required* to support x64.

Well I hope people don't have to wait for a 64 bit version whenever that's made available. Which im assuming is 2008 by the name...

Well its been a full week... not one person from Stardock has shed any light on the subject. I really hope that you guys arent planning to just straight up hold off the x64 version until 6.0 is ready.

It has been stated in the forums by Stardock that they would rather not give timelines and risk having more people pissed off by missing them. It has also been stated that the vast majority of users OSes (XP and Vista) are 32bit, so that will always be first priority.

Well im simply saying don't say "Coming Soon" if thats not the case. I could care less who uses 64 bit and who uses 32 bit, the fact is that we where told it would come "soon". I'm just simply wondering what their idea of "soon" may be, be it a weeks to months.

Dude... it has been released :/ - Beware though, your tray icons will double in size when using it.
