PQ45 planet!

I found a planet with PQ 26, and upgraded it to PQ45!

I was amazed at this. I managed to find a planet at PQ26 on a tiny map. When I colonized it I got an option to increase the planet quality by 33%, so I took it. I researched Xeno Ethics, and picked Neutral and the planet became a PQ45 planet!

Heres a bigger picture:

(Photobucket doesn't like the 1280x1024, so I had to shrink it.)

It is funny that even though this is obviously Earth, it is called Primus 1 in this game.

Wow! Now that's a nice planet

I"ve had that happen a couple times, where it used the earth backdrop on other planets.

Congrats on finding it! With that in your arsenal, you had better win!

Wow, 2 morale boosts? Smack that planet up to 100billion pop by researching all the xeno farms. 8 farms and 3 VR centres, you have max pop, and a source of income for your entire empire.

Nice find

you could proabbly do a huge income planet then trick out the rest of the planet with manufacturing centers so that the most expensive ship that you can come up with can be built in one turn

I think the Primus system is the Earth analog in a game without terrans. One game, I had a class 21 "Mercury" in the Primus system

make it your combo economic and political capital. with the potential population you could put on that planet, even just one embassy is gonna do huge things for your influence.

You will want to go into the "Planet Details" screen, and press the "Destroy Colony" button.

Heheh. Speaking of Earth clones, I once had a game with no Terrans upon which I discovered Earth -- and it was the home world of the Dark Yor! Looks like the machines did take over. Nice planet you've got there. Can do an awful lot with it -- I recommend turning it into a population center, as many others have.

Excellent planet! Although I saw one guy's PQ72 once... but it belonged to the Iconians I believe.

I ended up winning the game before I got to really use the planet, but it was going to be my technological capital. Oh well, I wanted to play one game in every size map in my Metaverse games, and this was the tiny map one, so I couldn't really prolong the game long enough to keep from winning an influence victory.

Yep, that was me, and yep, it was the Iconians that owned it.

Im sorry if this is really a dumb question, but I thought the highest class of planet was a 26? Im assuming then that there are special modifiers, as mentioned above, and more that can take it higher than that? Also a question on that population idea...isnt it hard to keep the loyalty of that planet up with alot of population growers on it? I had a planet that had a 300% growth bonus and I ended up having to have all morale boosters on it..course it was only a size 9 planet I believe, so with a higher class it would be easier then? Thanks all!

There are so many different techs buildings events minig resources etc that effect morale it would take a very long time to start from scratch and explain it all to you i suggest you browse the forums carefully and read all you find on the subject. It will make you a much much better player.
