That all depends on which backend database you are using and what type of licensing package purchase. For SQL Server, you can get licensing on a "Per Server/Processor" basis, or "Per Connection". All depends on what kinds of money a company wants to shell out. I would assume Oracle has a similar licensing plan.

Okay, here's some updated shots. The first is just the main display (I figured out how to resize the listbox control): The 2nd one shows the "Add Feed" display ... I'm working on the primary functionality, then I'll see about timers and such. If any *expert* dx scriptor (**cough** **cough**, Tiggz, _Mar

sranshaft: I think I've got it figured. Click and hold down the left mouse button anywhere in the activex control, while holding down the mouse button, hit the Control (Ctrl) button on your keyboard. From here, keep holding down the Control key (Ctrl) and let go of the left-mouse button and you can drag from the edges to resize ... hth, Dan

I'd love to have a personal icon, but have no graphics skill. As for the nick ... I'm a Denver Bronco's fan and the 7 is for John Elway. Why am I missing an "o" in broncofan7. Well, was creating an email address at hotmail and in order to get that email I had to drop the o

It could be either a widget or an object, if I can actually complete it I'd upload it as both. Not really sure this would be a dial-up type thing as it reads the feed when you click on an item in the listbox. I could always work around that by caching things somehow, but reading rss feeds if rather *non* resource intensive, so when you clicked an item, it would load the feed from the net. Blah, I'm babbling ... I currently use <a href="http:

Just curious to know if anyone thinks this would be worth continuing? Beyond just being a feed for 1 site, my intention is to give the ability add/delete other feeds and keep them so they'll always be there. Obviously have a lot of work to do, but thought I'd get some feedback as I'm curious to know if anyone beyond me would think this'd be useful.

Just wanted to add that I'm struggling with resizing a ListBox as well. Don't have any experience before 2.4 as I'm working on my first widget, but I can't seem to figure out how to resize the darn thing. tia, Dan

That an excellent idea HG. Nothing against boot skin creators, but there's nothing worse than have to filter through 15 new bootskins/icons when I come to see what's newly available ...

I'm trying to save an object's position, and was trying to use this subroutine (Object_OnDragFinish), thinking I could call my "savesettings" function from there, but it doesn't seem to work. My exact statement is as follows: Sub Object_OnDragFinish savesettings End Sub Can anyone enlighten me as to why this isn't actually calling the savesettings sub? tia, Dan
