So, got home late this evening, new update on Impulse. Download, install, reboot ... guess what's happening again ... any thoughts on what I need to do to fix this? It has only started happening with these new betas.

And a final update, this time it's working, here's my steps ... Backup Skins Uninstall Reboot Delete all Windowblinds folders Reinstall Reboot Works like a champ. But, I've had to do this with both of these new beta releases, just hope it doesn't continue with each subsequent release. Dan

After installing the latest update from today I am stuck in constant reboot (i.e., WB keeps telling me it has to reboot). Is there an easy fix for this beyond an uninstall/reinstall? Guess specs of some sort would help, not sure what all you want/need: Vista Home Premium SP1 Dell Inspiron 1520 2 GB RAM nvidia 8600M GT, driver 175.80 Let me know if you need anything else.

Excellent article and I couldn't agree more. It makes me wonder ... when do we change the "land of the free" from the star-spangled banner to a multi-sentence small print disclaimer, or at least put an asterisk next to it pointing to the fine print?

Icon Issue in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

Having a weird problem of late. If you look at the screenshot below, most of my application icons have the default icon from any/all IP packages I apply associated with them. I've done the rebuild icon cache, etc., all with no luck. I've gone back to the default vista icons and this doesn't fix the issue. One final thing I still have to do is uninstall/reinstall IP, but thought I'd ask in case anyone else has had this problem in the meantime. <IMG src="http://w

Can someone explain the supposed encrypted skins to me? Maybe I'm dense, but I realize the file has an extension of .MyColors, but I'm able to extract everything from it without even launching the MyColors app. I installed MyColors, installed the themes, but I've yet to actually run the MyColors app, I just extract stuff from the file. Am I just special? ;p

Got into WB a long time ago, don't actually remember the date, but I remember the day I first came across skinz.org, been hooked ever since. As for WC, I've been here for a long time (i.e. since the first or second day the site opened), but I'm just a lurker, subscriber and general bandwidth hog ... :p
