GM - I'm sorry to hear you had a bout with reality. I hope you are doing well now and still living in paradise out there in the Pacific Ocean. I have some challenges in my life too, I expect most of us have. I think we're facing a shift in our lives so extreme that our souls are aware of an approaching change and as we rush to make our spirits healthy, we're sensing a reflection from the near future and know it's time be contemplating eternity and our place in the cosmos.<

Hi guys! first thing I did was download Paul's incredible One-a-Day Icon Package and found it isn't recognized by the version of IP I'm running. Oops, guess I gotta update some stuff now. I'm impressed how much this site has grown, it'll be fun to browse around and discover some of the new features. Real Life™ has been a trip... too much so to even try to describe. I'm still a starving artist but still breathing so I guess it could be worse. I did manage to quit smoking... it

Hi Jafo! about Jark - I saw that... inconcievable. I was just talking with someone yesterday on another forum (different planet) about Jark. I was saying nice things about him. I'm shocked to see him being launched by his own site. You might recall I left DA about three years ago over an argument about white supremacists posting there. I've been away so long I'm surprised to see how much things h

I was feeling a bit nostalgic... realized how much I miss all of you. I had lunch today with Kona and his wife. They made the long drive to Portland to shop at Fry's (a veritable pilgrimage) This place looks very nice, been all dressed up with new code and bright colors. Lots to browse through, very nice. Good to see T-Man staying busy. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm glad to see so many familiar faces... My love to all of you! <IMG alt="" hspace=0 src=

I can relate Brad... obviously I've had enough of that kind of day I kinda disapeared. Hate to see you so down. I know what kind of effort you put out. Don't think it's totally unapreciated though. To many of us you're an example of the best of the skinning world and a damn fine human being too...

I feel like a serious mental disease has overcome most of the people I see today. I don't know how to describe it other than the polarization, the hatred and the lack of insight in everyone is astounding.&nbsp It makes me really sad to see so many good people supporting such bad actions. I don't know if it's just fear or if there really is some mental disorder, perhaps a contagious one, raging through the population in America.

Welcome Back Brainy! (camera is in the abstract seascape over the bed and microphone is in the base of the beige and gold ceramic lamp that's not plugged in.) I wanna know what happened to your sister after she jumped on your spaceship... you mean it worked? Did you ever see her again?

Yeah Morgan Freeman would be a great President - or - the guy that played the DA in Law and Order and did some ads for some financial institution (Smith Barney? "we do business the old fashioned way" or something like that) don''t know his name but he''d be believable as president too. Actually if we have to get a politician I''d vote for Charles Rangle and Cynthia McKinney... John Edwards is at the Bilderberg Conference right now, I assume that means he''ll replace Kerry as

Reagan's popularity only proves one thing, an actor is your best choice for a president.&nbsp We should elect Morgan Freeman president, he was great in that role in Deep Impact.&nbsp I doubt he would dismantle the public health system, ignore a raging outbreak of a deadly virus like AIDS or viscously attack the poor and the working class, wreck the economy and produce a record national debt. But even if he did we'd all remember him as a great president. <img src="http://images.stardock

I''ve got a few links for ICQ Plus, I was just commenting that their website is not only GONE but it redirects to ICQ''s... just wondered if ICQ killed the skinning engine since there is no Plus version for ICQ4. It strikes me as a real dumb move for ICQ.&nbsp Maybe they bought plus and are planning a new skinned version... freeform maybe? we can always hope...

I noticed their URL redirects to the ICQ homepage. Nowhere on ICQ's website did they say anything about skinning (that I could find anyway). I assume this means ICQ doesn't want to support skinning? [Message Edited]

I agree with Renato... it's&nbspmore complex to make them now and for various reasons it's not as much fun as before. I truly love making skins and always enjoy using a new one, but, today, I find I can't afford to take the extra two weeks of time. I do graphics for a living so maybe that's part of the problem too, burn-out from staring at a computer for too long. I know I'll still make skins and I never made that many anyway but I really feel like the times are not good for skinning
