Much thanks for the quick replies. On second thought I will reinstall SDC and spend some time really tweaking and using it and look for solutions to problems instead of trying to 'part and parcel' the apps, and reinstall SDC over itself if Desktop-X gives me errors again. After all spend a lot of time tweaking PC's in general (building and OC'ing) I should know to be more tolerant especially being used to using beta drivers and such, but I am a noob with this suite of applications and UI tweakin

Can I just use the serial number I received for object desktop for WB5, Icon Packager, and Cursor XP without even installing Stardock Central? The link given in my email after I bought Object Desktop was only to download Stardock Central -- which I tried and really didn't like at all. Not to mention no matter what I did Desktop-X would not work properly at all. It kept giving me an "MCP" error? Thanks for the reply, what i really want to know is will i get the newer version of windows blinds if i use that link. In other words i don't want to just "upgrade" to the suite - i want all new versions (including and upgrade to WB 5.0) since i have the older version of windows blinds (4.5) now. it doesn't specify that it will upgrade any exising version of windows blinds - all it says is that it will upgrade your WB to object desktop. I already know that if i were to pay 49.95

Hi - i have the older windows blinds. I saw the link to upgrade to the full object desktop from here https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/odnt-upgrade.asp My question is if i use this link to upgrade my older WB 4.5 will it just upgrade to object desktop for older versions? Or will i get all new versions of the suites, including WB 5.0? EG. I don't want to use the link if it just keeps the older WB version but upgrades/adds to new everything else.
