How do I embed keystrokes, it seems so fundamental and yet I can't work out how. Ok I can see I can use clipboard to do simple things but how about filling a form in with a need to tab between each field?

I have upgraded and now clicking on any of my taskbar icon in OD don't bring the application windows to foreground (or minimise). Any ideas? Is it just me?Ian
Is it possible to create a DX object that watches out for a particular app starting and sets that apps transparency like using a button on some WB skins.? I just want to always run a particular app semi-transparent. Thanks Ian
Hi Is it possible to configure WB to make one of my apps always run with transparency set? Like the exclusion facility but the opposite maybe? Thanks Ian
Here's my pennyworth.. Right Click to work with MS Office, some sort of ability to set transparency to windows background rather than to windows below, so background can be seen regardless of the number of apps overlaid, more robust WFX - works fine for a few hours, but I run for days without a reboot and it all goes pear shaped and needs unloading leaving a mess. DesktopX things that can be seen through transparency in the top-most app - like my request above for Desktop background -
Found a really cool effect using Windows FX and would like you guys at Stardock to consider putting it into one of your products so everyone can have it. The effect I have found is: I use Microsoft Terminal Services to link to other machines to support them. I set mstsc.ece to be partially transparent in WFx and it works fine, I can see own my local windows background through the MSTSC screen. But the really nice side effect is that as I use the remote computer it doesn't matter how many apps/wi
Can you guys at Stardock give this a little tweak or two please. The right click 'Create a new thread' (in the left list) doesn't work. The top level drop-down selection in 'create a new post' doesn't include 'stardock applications' just games. ObjectDock appears under 'Wincustomise' ?! So the organisation of messages portrayed on the left of the screen doesn't match the choices in the message creation. Thx. Keep up the good work.
Is there a way to make an item in a dock into something you can drop a file onto.?? I want to drop a file into a folder. I can see that applications and the recycle bin work but not folders. Thx Ian
Since ODP doesn't have a 'recent documents' feature, is it possible for someone to create one? Features like, number of entries to show and order of the items would be desirable, but just a list of that last 15 files would be a start to match up to standard Windows XP. I see there are a few user created DLLs providing extra functions. Is what is required to create one for ODP documented anywhere ? Thx Ian
Glad you worked it out that they meant no. I find the mouse over the tabs very annoying not just in your context cos if you aren't careful as you approach a docked tab it flies out just as you prepare to click it.
Hmmm, technically you are dead right, but on the Windows Start Menu you get the last 15 items. This would translate nicely into a fly-out menu. But the real 'Recent' folder contains much older stuff and forces a fly-out back into a menu cos there are too many. So I see a need for a specific dock entry to be listed in the ODP menu. Anyone help? <
Am I blind and can't see it... 1) Can we have a 'recent documents' item? 2) How do those of us who liked Media Player in the tray get an equivalent when the regular bar is hidden? Ian using ODP 1.5
I can cause this to happen reliably as follows on my rig: 1) Have two monitors operating as one, 2) Bring up remote desktop in full screen mode on one monitor. 3) Docks to show tabs when docked. I have a docklet on each monitor. 4) put an app on the unused monitor so that there is room to see the dock rise but the dock overlaps the app window. - ie you can clearly see if it is on top or not. 5) Now activate this dock in the non remote desktop window, it comes up on top. Now quickly move to the r
Then again, is it a 'working forum' ? "Sorry, there was a problem loading this page. Please refresh the page and try again. Alternatively, you may return to the Home Page. " and I did several times.... Don't seem to be able to add new posts to it, aaah well back to work....
hmmmm. Wonder why it wasn't in my list until I did 'reset list'. Was I meant to know I needed to do that ? Thanks
Before spending money on this - does the Aquarium work in multi-monitor configurations? Thanks.
