That sounds good. Works for me. Thank you for the clarification. I forgot ABCnews.com has transcripts. I could have just gone there and looked it up. "Duh" on me. ---------- "At times, there is no alternative to war." -- Ted Koppel

Just for the sake of argument, what is the name of this place full of wanton, willing women? Just so I can be sure to avoid it. Wouldn't want to accidently go there and be seduced over and over again you know. So... um... just to preserve my purity... what was that address?? Pretty please????

And God knows journalists never lie or backpedal. Personally I didn't see it. (ABC station here is too hard to pull in.) Is that all he said-- "I'm not" then out? Did he mean he's not against the war? or he's against the war but that's not why he's doing it? or he's not against the war and that's also not why he's doing it? Because just "I'm not" then out sounds kind o

There's been a lot of talk lately about what is or is not acceptable blogging practice. Some people say there are a bunch of rules you should follow, others say pretty much anything goes. Some have even suggested that the blogging about blogging has gotten out of hand and should be outlawed. Me-- I'm just looking for something to write about. Another blo

>> but of course, the guilt about being seperated from the child's mother makes him give in to some ridiculous stuff. I bet the kid knows it and plays it too his advantage, too. They're wily like that. You're right, though, it's not doing the kid any favors. I've seen people in their 50's who had never been told no as children, always given what they wanted, never disciplined and got away with everything. What pathetic messes they turned out t

For me commercials sometimes make a big difference. There are some films watching them with commercials just ruins it, there are others I actually seem to enjoy more with the commercials. Either way, they totally change the viewing experience and how the film is percieved. I'd only recommend "Fools Rush In" to fans of either of the leads. It's only so-so. It has a few cute moments, but overall is too sitcomish.

Purgatory?? You lucky sod. Here's how I scored (friends and enemies beware): --------- Fifth Level of Hell ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal

>>Clash of the Titans-don't know who its by but its old and goes through the adventures of Perseus in Greek Mythology Okay, I know I'm getting old, but some things just serve to emphasize it. For instance seeing Clash of the Titans described with "...but its old...." I *AHEM* saw Clash of the Titans in the theater when it was first released. "You kids with your Jurassic Park! So, exactly how hot is hot? I was looking for a point of comparison. Where I live on the Arizona/Nevada/California border it's usually in the 120's during summer. Of course, as we like to say, it's a "dry" heat.

While I like the concept of "paying forward" as opposed to "paying back" (instead of doing good just to those that did us good, we do good for multiple others as an act of gratitude) I hated that dumb movie and its "Field of Dreams" rip-off ending-- cars lining up into the horizon? Give me a break. Good message, lousy movie.

Yeah, I saw this on the local news out of Vegas the other night. Seems Burger King has gone kinky and taken their "have it your way" theme into a whole new area. Think that's the burger king himself in there? Has he become the Burger "Queen?" And we thought the Quizno's rodents were a wierd way to sell fast food....

Today (Wednesday, April 28) was Saddam Hussein's birthday. Not coincidentally it was also Jay Leno's birthday. Nuff said? Okay, consider this: Saddam: Achieved his position through backstabbing, betrayal and murder. Jay: Achieved his position through backstabbing and betrayal. (And, come on, hav

Thanks, Dharma. It's nice to be wondered about. As long as it's not the "Hmmm, sometimes I wonder about that boy" type of wondering, that is.

Well, you got me over there to read the original article and comments. I was expecting 50 messages haranguing Christianity and belittling you. Instead I find four messages, most of which seem to be by Christians. Let's excerpt this: "I believe the point of the article is true..." "Jesus came, and then all people were the chosen people, gentiles or Jews, RIch or Poor." "...take the TIME to find out more about people? If we loved them li
