Sorry but I am not sure what "portal fences" is? What program are you displaying the capability to organize freely?

I only get the following 4 options Name Size Item type Date modified

Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.3775) Fences Version 6 (Beta 1)

I routinely connect and disconnect my laptop from an ultrawide monitor. Every time I do this my desktop icons re-arrange. I cannot find a way to arrange in the order that I prefer within Fences. Is there a way to freeze the apps within a fence on how I prefer, and not by selecting a sort method?
