Just for the record: update 2.51 fixed it for me, but I had to export the settings, reset Start11 and reimport.
apwin11
Glad to hear, thank you.
Microsoft screwd sandbox so I'm not able to test that. Nevertheless I'm testing on a virtual machine which is the same. As well I encounter the same issue on different machines. To me it's obvious that the path showed in the messagbox is wrong. The path "shell:appsfolder\%allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" is entirely misspelled. The correct syntax would be "%allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs".
Sandbox seems to be broken on all my windows instances. But I figured there's a different context menu when I search an app. It has an item to run as administrator which works. Meanwhile I'm using version 2.5, but the issue persists.
Thank you for the hint. I just wonder why it's no enabled by default, as in the standard menu.
Sure, 1. Windows 11 Pro 24H2 build 26100.2454 2. Start11 2.11
In a Remotedesktop Session on a Windows 11 virtual machine the power button menu is missing items: To shutdown I have to call the original menu.
I followed all of these steps but no success.
After doing as you suggested it didn't work. I cleared the settings as well. If I try to start an app like windows notepad it's fine but not if it's a self installed program. To me looks like a localization issue because it occurs on a german windows. The path from the error message exists. I can cd there in a cmd window.
Surprisingly the windows 7 styles work but all other don't. I'm using windows 11 pro style. It makes no difference either however I add a shortcut to the menu. I don't know if it's a related problem but I also can't see the everything tool search results.
Ok that's working like expected.
Right click on an icon and trying to select to run as administrator results in the following message: Fresh installation on two different systems. Both version Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (Build 26100.2454) German.
