The program works, but apparently OE won't if WB is running. Open WB configuration, click 'per application' and add OE to the exclusion list to not be skinned. See if that helps.

Several times it has been noticed that some files were not the ones that should be - and I don't mean cracks. There have been a few that glitched on update and those users had issues even though themes worked fine. Once they got properly updated, their issues disappeared.

While you're waiting.... have you considered a DTX desktop for the kids? That's what I did for my kid last year, with animated objects as shortcuts. And I remember reading not too long ago, some figured how to get an object to grow in place so you can still have that option.

I'm curious: Since 5.01.006 is the latest release version and most of your file dates are anywhere from a day to 6 months off, where did you download it from? I'm running the latest beta and you got at least one file dated even newer than what I show.

Recent is a relative term. When it does that, it's basically is telling you the trial is up. And as you discovered, reinstalling it doesn't work. But just in case, open WB configuration, click system information on the left and copy/paste all the info that shows up here.

Object Desktop includes the program in this list . A little more specifics on what text you are trying to change would help.

I have the free version (no tabs, no systray,etc) I use a docklet to pull them in. Unfortunately, I'm not at home and I can't access WC from here. If I grabbed the right link, see if this will work for you until someone with OD+ comes along with an answer.
