Lock Desktop Icons

I use IconX on my kids desktop. I put their programs on the desktop and the grow style. However, the younger ones are still having a bit of trouble with the double-click. It would be incredibly useful to have IconX lock them in the spot they are put into. Any chance of getting this implemented? I requested it 2 years ago, and the response was maybe. Maybe now?

While you're waiting.... have you considered a DTX desktop for the kids?

That's what I did for my kid last year, with animated objects as shortcuts.

And I remember reading not too long ago, some figured how to get an object to grow in place so you can still have that option.

I did build one using DTX, but it means I have to extract icons for each game, create a widget, etc. Would be so much easier to just throw them on the desktop and have them stay in place.
